I have tried so many dry shampoos over the years and been disappointed every time until now. This product does everything I need for my fine, oily hair on the day after I shampoo my hair. It has a very light, pleasant scent, is not heavy or thick once sprayed on my roots, and truly manages the oil in my hair, leaving my hair looking like I shampooed it that morning. Finally a dry shampoo I am completely satisfied with. Hallelujah!!!

This is my second buy. I like the amount you get for the price. The product actually helps my hair seem less greasy and fuller when I use the dry shampoo. I honestly will continue to buy this product

This smells so good and makes your hair smell and look fresh and clean! I don't like to wash my hair a lot because of extremely hard water…this stuff refreshes my hair without using water and I love it!!!

Great for cutting down on washing silverware!

I've tried lots of brands of dry-shampoo because I go as long as I can between washes so my hair doesn't become dry from lack of natural oils... of course, I don't want oily-looking hair either! I've tried "Bats" "Duv" Equate, "Hsk" etc. Not Your Mother's has been the best brand for me. I have very fine hair. I can usually get away with 2nd day hair, but by day 3, I definitely need dry shampoo or a good style to make the oil less noticeable. Every once in a while if I'm switching up my wash day for an occasion, I'll even use dry shampoo on day 4 hair, PAIRED with a style. With day 3 hair, the absorbency gets enough oil and gives me enough volume that the look is similar to my day 2 hair. It gives me enough volume at my roots to give a good lift so it's not so FLAT against my scalp. If I'm stretching it and using it on day 4 hair, I do have to use a LOT, and it still doesn't give day 2-looking hair, but it gets me by in a pinch. 
TIP: Let is absorb before rubbing it in. Follow with a little blow drying!

Overall, I like it and it works for refreshing hair on a non-wash day. The good: no white residue, definitely takes down/eliminates the greasy/oily look, feels fresh and light, effects seem to last all day for me. The bad: the scent - it is SUPER overwhelming. The first few times I used it, it filled the bathroom for like 10 minutes with suffocating perfume smell (and I didn't even use that much). Second time I used it, I went outside. Since those initial few times of using, I have noticed the intoxication level of the scent is not as overwhelming, but I still would prefer a different scent. Things to know: the bottle says "shake vigorously" and they aren't kidding - I noticed much better results when I shake it vigorously at the start of application and then in between each spray.

Works wonders, but beware of the scent

I had high hopes based on a wirecutter recommendation and the reviews but I don't think this improved the look of my hair which I had washed the previous day- I have very thin hair and not tons of it. The roots were starting to be a little greasy, more noticeable to me than others, and the outside still fairly fluffy. This seemed to perhaps decrease the fluff factor and did not plump up or dry the roots. I used a very small amount and perhaps I am not using optimally... so maybe it is user error, but I think for my hair type it doesn't really work, and I am not seeing how this would make you look ike you had washed your hair.

The smell stinks and is hard to get rid of. When I used it for the first time, the smell lingered in our whole house for hours. It made me nauseous. I didn't like the way it made my hair look either. I ended up washing my hair just to get the smell out. I definitely do not recommend this product.
