This hanging light is the perfect accessory for any room in the house that needs a little extra lighting.  It can be installed to hang over desks, kitchen counters or any place imaginable.  The soft Matte Brass and white frosted glass globes will compliment any style of decor.  The light was easy to install, even for a novice handyman like myself.  The light itself appears to be made of quality materials and expert craftsmanship.

We have a modern house and we're a little nervous this was a little too traditional, but they fit and look perfect over our kitchen island. They have a modern shape but have a classical texture that adds a lot more than you think!! The installation was quick and easy, and the design and construction is very durable. Highly recommend

Classic and Modern

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This light is larger than I thought, but works perfectly above my kitchen table!  I originally thought I might put it in a bathroom, but I felt like it might be a bit large for that, at least in my home.  Pay attention to the dimensions, and order accordingly - for me the pictures make it look smaller than it actually is.

The matte brass finish is a bit brighter than the "antique brass" that was once popular, and should match brushed brass plumbing and hardware fixtures that are becoming popular now.  This fixture is easy to install, feels well built, and should last for a long time.  The light is suspended by a black fabric wrapped cord, and can be customized to the length you need without compromising with different length metal down rods.

If this fixture fits with your home's decor, I think this is a great option!

Nicely made light, that's larger than I expected.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We just moved into a house that is decorated in the modern farmhouse style.  Almost all the light fixtures have matte black metal chains and bars and seeded glass globes.  It is too much of the same repeated decor as if it was staged for a play.  Although I do like the style, we have moved 12 times coast to coast and we have a real eclectic mix of furniture and accessories.  So we wanted to lighten up the feel a bit leaning towards the grandmillennial style.  This simple beautiful light fixture easily fits into our lighter vision for our house.  The frosted ribbed glass shade is light weight and a bit more feminine than it appears in the photos.  It gives off an even glow without shadows  and the fixture is dimmable.  It is versatile enough to be used in almost any room and 2 of them would really stand out in any style home for a kitchen or dining room.  The aged brass metal and black cord have warmed up and softened the heavier farmhouse look.  We easily installed it ourselves.  I was not aware of the Novogratz brand before this, but  I look forward to perusing their other decorating options in the future.  I love the versatility of this modern light and feel that it would adapt well and change up any decor.
