Needed to lighten up the dining room. Dark wood table and dark wood flooring made it feel cold. This area rug added some light and texture which was exactly what we were going for. Didn’t seem to have any smell as other reviews mentioned. Overall great quality and good price.

i bought this for one of my guest bedrooms and i just love how it looks. i thought it would be hard jute but its not. its soft gentle on the feet.

Absolutely love this rug! It’s beautiful and makes me feel happy!! The color is true, both warm and bright. The chunky jute is so fun to walk on and adds such a bohemian vibe to what would otherwise be a boring home library. 

As other reviewers mentioned, the unpacking is effortless. The rug immediately lays flat and has a symmetrical and clean edge on every side so is easy to center in your room. 

I’ll finally add that there are very slight imperfections in the rug- some loops are a little rough and untidy. But, I emphasize that this is slight and the more you walk on the rug, the more your iron out the imperfection. 

Anyway, for me, the handmade rug is appealing in its authenticity and I love feeling it under my feet and in my home.

While I've only had this rug for about a week, I can say that it looks fantastic in the living room! It came packaged very well, and was easy to unfold and lay out. While there was initially a chemical smell, it went away quickly. It does not seem to shed much thus far. The color is exactly as I expected, and makes the whole living room look much more cohesive!

Fantastic Rug

I really love this rug. Deep, vibrant blue and it's a rougher texture which feels good underfoot, but is soft enough that the kids still lounge on it. The ONLY negative is that it sheds like no tomorrow! 
Hopefully, the blue fuzz found everywhere will lessen with time (It's been 2 months now and it's def not as much as when we first got it). Still, with that being said, I'm happy with this rug, enough to deal with the extra sweeping and vacuuming.

Seems like a nice rug.  I haven't laid it down yet because we are redecorating, but they are emailing me asking for a review, so this is just my initial impression, sorry.  I did look and feel it in the package and it's soft (for a jute rug) and seems well made.

Decent and soft

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love the look of this rug and the color. However the knots (the weaving), is coming undone all over the place. I have to hand tie them and try and make it as even as possible. Unfortunately this started happening within the first week I got it. I think it might make a great layering rug, but I was looking for the solid neutral look. I also have it in our living room where we are most of the time.

It is pretty but maybe not great in high traffic areas.

The rug would have veen great if it was new. The rug we got looked old and used and the tassels very frayed. Ive never been all that picky, but the moment i looked at the rug when i received it, i immediately called the company to send it back. Thankful for their awesome service and cooperating with us.

Looked worn and dirty

The rug was very thick and it actually hurt your feet walking on it as it pricked as you walked on it.  The rug smelled so bad like it was in a moldy basement forever.... I was hoping it would air out and it did not and the smell was strong enough it went thru the entire apt...  I literally rolled it back up and threw it in the dumpster as I was not going to pay for shipping .

I have bought jute rugs before from other vendors and this was the first one that I got rid of within a few hours.  Very disappointed

Jute rug is very loosely woven, has numerous pulls and loose ends woven into rug.  I've had jute rugs before and this is nothing like I've ever owned.  I won't return any of them because RugsUSA charges to return merchandise.  This is my first and only purchase from this company.
