If the corners are sticking up curl them back and place heavy objects on affected areas going the opposite way.Heat: Use this technique as a last resort only. Place the rug over a cleared concrete or area like a driveway or sidewalk setting during dry sunny conditions. Allow the rug to be positioned for optimal sunlight as long as possible to give the rug time to absorb the sun's heat for up to 2 hours but use more time if needed.Blow Dryer: If a large concrete patch with optimal sunlight is not accessible flip the rug over and use a hair dryer to affected areas to heat up the creases. Always hold the hair dryer 7 to 12 inches away from the rug going side to side on a medium setting as heat can sometimes cause backing to melt.

Needed to lighten up the dining room. Dark wood table and dark wood flooring made it feel cold. This area rug added some light and texture which was exactly what we were going for. Didn’t seem to have any smell as other reviews mentioned. Overall great quality and good price.

i bought this for one of my guest bedrooms and i just love how it looks. i thought it would be hard jute but its not. its soft gentle on the feet.

After reading the somewhat mixed reviews,  I took a chance and bought this rug, as I really wanted a natural, affordable fiber and I love the color and texture!  It arrived quickly, had an earthy smell only noticeable when putting your nose right up to it, no sticks or dirt as some had described. I’m using it in my living room seating area to anchor the space with a smaller, tribal rug layered on top. No signs of unraveling, but it’s a low traffic area and I’ve only had it 2 weeks. It’s softer than I anticipated and I am comfortable bare foot on it- of course it’s not as soft as a broadloom, nor should it be. I am very happy with this purchase so far!

I was slightly nervous about purchasing this rug after reading a few of the less-than-flattering reviews.  However, to my delight, the rug arrived quickly, and I fell in love with the color (the orangy/red) and texture.  The rug itself rolled out nicely and did not have much of an odor at all.  What odor there was, disappeared in a few hours.  Regarding the softness factor--com'on people, this is a jute rug--of course it's not going to be cushy and feel fantastic on bare feet!  After having lived with the rug a week, I went back and ordered another one to put under my couch.  That literally arrived one day after I placed the order.  Very impressive.  I can easily recommend this rug to others.

Better than Anticipated!

Hello...just want to thank you for the chunky loop rug, it was beautiful but too big for our apartment.  We thought about cutting it to fit but that would have have taken away the luster of a well made rug.  We received it on a Wednesday and returned it on a Friday. Quality of received rug and returns.

Initially smelled a little upon arrival but once I opened it up in the room the odor and moisture were gone. It immediately relaxed without any creases.  Beautiful color and a great addition to our guest room.  I was a little worried about the tassels with the vacuum cleaner but its been a non issue

Great Jute rug

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This rug is exactly what I was hoping for. It’s thick and unlike other jute rugs, it doesn’t shed. I’d recommend the pad under it so it doesn’t slide. Only warning is that it’s so thick and textured that I couldn’t put it under my dining table because my chairs wouldn’t move on top of it (even with sliding coasters). So I moved it to our living room

Our new rugs

It’s awesome that it’s a natural rug. I appreciate that it’s natural (& I think handwoven)..... but it sheds a lot and seems to easily become loosened. I am returning it because I don’t want to take any chances on messing it up. Paid a decent amount for it. Lovely for outside, if jute is okay for outside. I also don’t necessarily like the semi-rough feel it has for an indoor rug.

Not the right rug for my space,although looked gr8

The rug was very thick and it actually hurt your feet walking on it as it pricked as you walked on it.  The rug smelled so bad like it was in a moldy basement forever.... I was hoping it would air out and it did not and the smell was strong enough it went thru the entire apt...  I literally rolled it back up and threw it in the dumpster as I was not going to pay for shipping .

I have bought jute rugs before from other vendors and this was the first one that I got rid of within a few hours.  Very disappointed
