Just as pictured. Softer than I expected. Immediately my 19 year old son dumped not one, not two, but THREE potted freshly watered plants on it leaving potting soil, and standing dark brown puddles of dirt water all over. I didn't say a word, just grabbed the wet vac and vacuumed the water and dirt until it looked clean again and then took a white towel and blotted the dampness until it was dry.  Thank God it cleaned up perfectly well. I was shocked and I think he was shocked that I didn't even freak out a bit. I was irritated deep down that he didn't use his brain more when moving a table by himself with a huge arrangement on it, but, stuff is stuff and a 9x12 rug isn't more valuable than making him feel like crap for what I'm pretty sure he already felt like crap for. Clearly it's a winner and made us both smile after it came out clean!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Does this rug look nice? Yes. Is it soft? Also, yes. Am I replacing it after less than a year of use? Unfortunately, yes. Not only has this rug shed nonstop for a year (it still jams the vacuum brush on a weekly basis), but it also shows wear-and-tear really quickly. We bought this rug for our nursery and have only subjected it to regular, light traffic for the last three months and it's already pilling in addition to the shedding. I was optimistic given the number of positive reviews, but unfortunately, it has not lived up to my expectations and I am replacing after only one year. It was too expensive and hyped to be this average.

Replacing After 1 Year

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It sheds A LOT and is very smelly. I vacuum it every day (without the beater bar because that lifts up more fur) but it still sheds like crazy. It's not as cute as the Instagram pictures of this rug unfortunately. I'm sure with a good filteri could make it look cute. I can not recommend this rug!

Sheds & smells

The rug is very soft. When I first unwrapped it, it smelled strongly of mildew and chemicals that made my face itch. I left it to air out for a week in a very sunny location, and the smell dissipated. However, the shedding has been there from day 1 and is not improving with vacuuming. I don't want to roll the dice on reduced shedding in 3 months and will be returning this rug.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] At first it seemed a little thicker than I expected, but after seeing it in our living room for the first hour of having it I really fell in love with it! It definitely gives off comfort vibes. Creamy comfy and warmth. Throw some chunky blankets on the couch to tie it together.

I want to love this rug so bad because it really is beautiful. In fact, it looks perfect. Not the most comfortable to step on, but that wasn't my priority. I cannot get past the smell. After a week of keeping the windows open and fan running, my entire apartment still smells like a barn. I'm not sure if it will go away after a few more weeks but it is OVERWHELMING and I fear even if I return it, the smell will linger forever.

This rug sheds like a dog.  Piles of hair for 2 weeks now. Gets everywhere like I have 5 dogs living here. All over furniture, clothes and having to vacuum 2x a day to keep up with it.  I thought after a week and a few vacuums it would stop but still hasn't.  Beautiful rug but poor quality.

Shedding Rug

I purchased this rug in a runner size as well as the 8 x 10 and already love them both so much! The 8 x 10 is being weighted down by a coffee table so we didn't get a rug pad for it but if you don't have something to weigh it down I would definitely recommend a pad. Both rugs are very soft and have a nice spring to them. The runner really doesn't shed at all but the larger area rug will need a big of vacuuming. This is not the sort of rug you want to sit on in black yoga pants!

Gorgeous Rugs at a Great Deal

It wasn’t what I expected in terms of color but I is a soft material like most other reviews note. We purchased the 8 feet round off white rug to go under our formal dining. It work well with our decor and we are getting ready to get a rectangular one for our formal living room so it does pair well in my opinion.
