Connection

We have had a Nutone central vac for about 15 years.  We have one set for the upper floor and now one for the lower floor.

I love it. I wish, though, there was a better way to press release button to separate the chrome extension/ratcheting wand from the electric power brush (deluxe). The ratcheting wand does not separate easily and I am afraid of breaking my fingernails. Other than that, it is a great machine. I have had Nutone central vacuum for 22 years with the same CV series bag filtration system with my second set of Deluxe Electric Kit. One other wish is that there is a hose carrying cart to wrap/store the hose to transport to another part of room or garage. I am limited on space to hang the hose onto the wall in my furnace room and would like to wrap hose onto a cart to move to my garage next to the filtration system. The sock for the crushproof hose is great and protects the corners of the walls in my home.

Love it.

Relative to the previous power nozzle that I had from Nutone, this one was short lived. In less that a year the beater bar began to make noises. When looked at for service, the plastic side of the beater bar had deteriorated to the point where it would not hold the bar firmly in place as it turned.

I have had Broan/NuTone products for years. Always wonderful so when purchasing a new central vac system for a different home, I went to what I thought was the trusted source. Apparently these systems are now manufactured elsewhere and come with no warranty!! The powerhead has been shorting out for about 6 months. I have to fiddle with it to get it running. The more time goes on, the more I have to fiddle with it. With no warranty, apparently my only option is to keep fiddling with it until it truly doesn't work anymore, then buy a new one. Completely ridiculous!

Powerhead has issues

I had a power brush for approximately 20 years before it stopped working.  I bought this CT700 power head December 2019. and I recently noticed it started skipping like as if there was a short. Not even 2 years.  I have to play with it in order to finally make the connection for it to work and even then it skips a little .  Seemed like a beautiful product when it arrived.  Just so disappointed.

Disappointed

I would recommend this powerhead for it's cleaning capabilities but the materials it is made out or are very flimsy and breakable....not durable at all...the angles that the powerhead are engineered to move in are too radical for the materials used in the production of this product.

Made too cheaply with very fragile parts....broke major part within 6months

Everything works. Too bulky and time consuming when using the central vac system.To much time wasted moving hoses around. Can not get the cleaning people to use it. They bring their own vacuum.

Should have Bought another Dyson

This is a cheap head. Our just stopped working. When we took it to a local vacuum repair shop they said it is "toast" we only got a couple years out of it. We shouldn't had to keep replacing heads. Do yourself a favor and spend the money on a better unit or you will just have to keep replacing

Doesn't last

In one year have gone through 2 power brush units. Plastic unit over the brush cracks and the rotating brush destroys it's end connection. Have also gone through 2 hard floor units, they crack at the wand connection. The solution for that is a 1 1/2" hose clamp to hold it in place.

Piece of junk!

I have gone through 3 power heads in less than 3 years. It just stops working. When it was working, it did a nice job. Good suction, easy to handle. It is too expensive to keep purchasing for such a short time
