Simple instructions make it easy to operate.

Can be clear and concise, but sometimes confusing or lengthy.

Offers strong suction for effective cleaning, but can be inconsistent in certain situations.

I had a vacuum sealer for years and it finally played out.  After checking out several vacuum food sealers I decided to purchase the Nutrichef sealer because of the reasonable price.  I have already sealed several packages of meat for our freezer and after some trial and error got the sealer to work great. Looking forward to using this sealer for many years.  We love how our frozen food last so much longer when vacuum sealed.

The device works really well but may take a few uses to make sure each side is snapped closed. I buy in bulk then put smaller quantities in my food saver bags. Food stays fresher longer.

Saves money

Easy to follow instructions. Very easy to use with both the precut bags and the roll included in the box. Be sure both sides of sealer are closed before you start vacuum/seal process. Use the palm of your hand and listen for the click (on both sides). Compact design and easy to store or leave on countertop.

Easy to use

Used it for about 4 or 5 times so far so this obviously a long time review. Happy so far, though. Good product.

I received the product and was not 100% sure what to expect since I have never used a food sealer before. I was pleasantly surprised on how well this worked. This was also very easy to use without even having to look at the directions really. Great product so far.

Pleasantly Surprised!!

Walmart shipped it to my quickly. When I received it I put it to work right away. In the box was a roll of vacuum sealer bag material along with some pre done bags. I was going to vacuum seal salmon for the freezer so I needed custom sized bags. I rolled off what I needed and cut it. I sealed one end. I put the salmon in the bag and vacuum sealed and it did a great job.

Nice vacuum sealer

This is my first time ever using one of these items, so far I am pleased with what this vacuum sealer can do.  I can't wait  to get into more sealing.

First Time Sealer

This vacuum sealer is user friendly and seals things very nicely. The only negative so far is that the lid is a little bit hard to close correctly. I am very happy with this product.

Wonderful addition to your kitchen gadgets!

This vacuum sealer was not an expensive model, but it does seem to do the job well. I am happy to finally be able to better protect the meat in my freezer. The unit requires some real effort to latch, but it does a good job of vacuuming. The hose to attach the unit to vacuum canisters did not have the correct connector on one end, but the company responded to my email inquiry and sent the correct hose. All in all, I am pleased with my sealer and didn't have to break the bank to purchase it!

Good inexpensive vacuum sealer

It would only work about 50% of the time, other 50% it would seal but not vacuum.  It also would not latch with gently pushing down on the top,you had to give it a tap. I will be returning for a refund.  I've owned several Food Saver brands in the past and will be going back with that brand.
