Bought this to use in my camper & it has exceeded my expectations. Very large stable cooking surface. No need to worry about your pots, pans or skillets sliding off it. Another nice feature is the constant steady heat so it doesn't cook vigorously when the element cycles on then your food falls asleep when the element cycles off. Since it is infrared instead of induction you can use any type of cookware. You will wonder how you ever got along without it. Overall dimensions are: 11"W x 14.1875"D x 2.125"H and the heavy duty power cord is almost 4.5' long.

Whoever shipped it, put it in a mailer bag. When I opened the bag it smelled like sanitizer/cleaning solution. I took the box out and it was soaked, but the burner inside wasn't. Who would do something like that? When I used it, it seemed like it was taking a long time to heat up. The instruction manual doesn't explain things well when it comes to shutting it off and what a certain button on the control panel does.

Who ships like this?

Biggest downfall, it doesnt bring water to a rolling boil. At first I thought maybe it was the pans I was using but nope. Otherwise it works well for most other stuff.
