I needed a battery powered fan that actually took loose batteries for the upcoming hurricane season in case the power goes out. Most fans I found were chargeable but if the power goes out, those would be useless to me. This produced quite a good amount of air on the high speed. So far no complaints but haven't really used yet so hopefully battery life is good.

A definite must have

I use this fan camping in my van and travel trailer. I go to sleep to the hum. It works well on both speeds.

Cool and refreshing

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Good product stable sturdy. Does not chatter or easily knocked over. Barely hear it. Place on table 10 feet away, as long as blades aimed directly at you. Very cool. .Does not tilt 90 degrees Tilts 5 degrees  /- or up and down. 10 degrees total. Light weight even with 8 D Cells.

Nice Fan

perfect back up for loss of electricity during a hurricane or power outage

Very nice battery powered fan for use during power outages, or outdoors.  It got me through some warm nights  during one of Forida's Fall hurricanes.  It is small,  ideal for one or two people adjacent to each other. Of course, it's great plugged in as added cooling in warm spots in the house where A/C flow is inadequate. Very light, portable fan for travel also.

Package clearly states that an AC adapter is included. It was NOT. I specifically purchased this fan because it was supposed to include an adapter and yet here we are. Now I have to return the product making the convenience of online shopping nullified.
