Massage

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This chair is so adaptable/flexible in all positions, and variable heights - lowest seat height is 18", for the shorter members of the family - can easily adjust up to 22" - I am 6' and the 22" seat height is quite comfortable, the center tilt and tilt-tensions adjust chair and seat back recline for comfort and work preference - with all the variations of heat, massage. This will be used in my home office - I had 30 years of work in a corporate office - this chair by far is easier to adjust, operate, and more features than any I encountered in my years of working.

Assembly was a breeze - all parts includes, clearly labelled, bolts labelled where to be used, so included hex wrench was only tool needed. The manufacturer also included a few extra pieces, bolts, and bolt cap. If I had to assemble again - I would take the time and partially screw in a bolt into each of the holes - I found on bolt #12, the last - the threads were out of alignment or something - the 1st 11 were a breeze - I did use one of the extra bolts, and partially threaded to be sure it would go in - that solved the delay.

The lower right back of the chair has a small pocket to hold the heat, massage adjustment control unit - looks and sized like a TV remote - all plug in connections - one to the control unit (a coiled cord that allows enough length to allow either a right or left handed person to operate while seated) and another one to a transformer plug in cord - cord is amply long - almost 6' - to safely reach an electrical outlet. 

All adjustments are done from the right lower side - seat elevation or lowering, unit control - so wiring to outlet can be as direct as possible originating from the same spot on the chair. The seat height and seat tilt are lever controlled from the right side. There is tilt tension knob under the seat that if turned allows for setting the amount of resistance you get when leaning back. 

I should point out its not actual leather, it is what they call "SoftThread Leather", easy to wipe down, feels close to the real thing - the unit is solid/stable, sturdy - should last for years if used as a chair, not as a step stool, furniture mover, and not poked with sharp objects like knives, forks, keys, etc - I think you get the picture - for younger users - I would want to give little verbal advice on how the chair is to be used. It's a nice addition to my home office space. Would highly recommend because it offers so many variables in adjustments than appear at 1st glance - even after assembly - I sat in the chair for quite a while to try out all the different functions and areas of impact.

Comfortable really massages my back I can just fall asleep I'm so in love with it it's my best purchase ever!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My husband and I have a home office with an average desk chair so it was nice to get this Essentials Heated Shiatsu Massage Leather Executive Chair. It took me an hour and a half to put together. Took longer than I thought because lining up the arm rests to put the screws into the back cushion was difficult. I had to feel for the notches because the fabric was covering them. So i had to line it up and hold it just right to get the screw in. The back cushion is heavy as the massage mechanism is there so you probably would want some help with assembling. I do like the massage and heating element but the massage is not a deep massage just average light massaging. You have to firmly place your back right against the cushion so sit all the way back. The controller that it comes with is easy to use for different settings of massage. The seat cushion is comfortable for sitting hours at a time. It is a nice looking sturdy comfortable chair so we are happy with it.

Massage is light, the leather feel is great.  One year owning it and a wheel crumbled.  Unfortunately I did not purchase the extended warranty.  I do not recommend.

Didn't hold up as expected.

Massage function is weak!  Heat does not work well. Massage Does not even reach the shoulders.   Way too much money for what I got.   If I didnt need the chair right away I would definitely send back.

IT WAS A GIFT. I HAVEN'T EVEN SEEN IT YET.
