I've used this product consistently for a week, every time i use it with heat tools it leaves my hair soft and silky compared to the dry and crunchy of the bleached ends it used to feel like after using heat tools. minimal breakage and damage when using this product compared to normal as well.

Im not shy to try literally anything if it says it will provide moisture, repair & protect my hair. Ive been using BLACK BOX DYE in my hair for years & your girls hair is getting a little dry.. if yah know what I mean LOL. This product, no lie has NOT ONLY fixed my dead, dry ends after blow drying but my hair looks HEALTHY.. the black box dye will not ruin my hair anymore. (This review was collected as part of a promotion.) I've only used the Bond Protein Repair 230°C Heat Protect Spray from ogx a few times so far, but I'm honestly really liking it. It actually delivers on its claims, especially the bond-repair aspect. As someone who has pretty damaged ends from consistent heat styling, I appreciate that it helps strengthen my hair without weighing it down.
One thing I love is how lightweight it feels. My hair doesn't get greasy quickly like it has with other heat protectants I've tried. I've also used it on dry hair while restyling, and it didn't make my hair look too shiny or oily. Instead, it made my dry ends look smoother, softer, and more alive.
So far, it's definitely become a product I reach for, and I'm excited to keep testing it out more.

Was in hunt for a heat protector, I use heat in my hairs occasionally but still needs to protect them, this one is super light weight and non sticky on hairs and leave no after smell , easy to use with the handy nozzle, such a great quality , highly recommended.

(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) I've been testing the OGX Bonding + Plex 230°C Heat Protect Spray for a few weeks now, and I'm honestly impressed by how much smoother and stronger my hair feels—especially considering the budget-friendly price tag.

The first thing I noticed was the lightweight texture. It doesn't weigh the hair down or leave that crunchy, sticky feeling that some heat protectants do. Once sprayed, it absorbs quickly and adds a subtle slip that makes detangling so much easier.

I regularly use a straightener and blow dryer, so I needed something that could genuinely shield my hair from high heat (up to 230°C). With this spray, I've noticed fewer flyaways, reduced breakage, and an overall healthier look. My hair feels more resilient and less “fried” after styling.

What I love most is that it includes bond-building ingredients—so it's not just protecting; it's actually helping to reinforce the strands over time.

Next, it's very light texture, doesn't stick to hair and/or hands. Super easy to apply.

Perfect for the party season

I've been using this heat protection spray every time I do blow dry or curls, for my hair it works decent as my hair strands are fine so it adds some weight though way less than other sprays that I've used so far.However, for my sister who has thicker hair strands it works amazing for her.

It's great for thicker hair

(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) When I don't use a hair heat protectant, my hair gets extremely frizzy and dry/damaged looking. I have very thin hair so it sticks up like crazy and is super noticeable. Using this spray, I made sure to keep away from my roots, I noticed a big difference in the frizz level from heat damage, so I know it's doing well to protect my hair, but I think because my hair is so thin, it leaves my hair looking extremely greasy. Not shiny and fresh looking, greasy as though I have not showered. I think it's a good product for people if they have a bit more texture and natural volume to their hair but for me personally, I think it's not a good match.

Protective but left hair greasy

(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) I really disliked how this heat protectant applied. The spray bottle does a continual spray, and it goes everywhere. It's not a good method for applying and very wasteful. 

I'm not crazy about the scent, it's nothing special. I didn't find it to be overly hydrating and didn't add any additional softness or sheen to my hair. 

I've tried better heat protectant sprays and products and this one doesn't compare. I wasn't a fan and this isn't something I'd purchase or reach for in my hair styling cabinet.
