This is my 4th DeLonghi radiant heater purchase - the first one, was a gift for a college student, who had no heat - the second, & third, were for an apartment, which had electric wall heaters (expensive to run, & force air, which is way too dry) - when I moved from the apartment, I gifted them to someone living in a mobil home w/out heat - the 4th is for my office, which is not sufficiently heated. * These heaters are efficient, safe, & durable :o)

De'Longhi

This is my third De'Longhi radiant heater I've bought in the last 15 years. The first two are still working - my mom stole the first one because she loved it, haha. I wanted another one for the living room and bought this original simple interface with dial and buttons. I have a digital thermostat one as well, which I like for my bedroom, but I wanted a simpler mechanism for the living room. I love these heaters, as they give a constant heat with no noise. Great quality, good price and works for a long time!

Worth the Investment

De'Longhi is the only manufacturer I can find that makes a full-size oil filled radiant heater. The other brands have smaller fins that put out less heat & waste electricity compared to the De'Longhi heaters. The best part is that it is not digital, you just plug it in, turn it on & forget it. If the power goes out it comes back on.

Only analog heater with full size fins

Nice that wheels are foldout, no extra parts. Only using on min or med setting to minimize effect on old electrical wiring, but heater is keeping temp fairly steady in 400+ sq ft space and decreasing need for using old oil furnace. Cool enough to touch to be safe for pets and children passing by. So far, very happy with this heater.

Solid product

It keeps the room warm at a constant temperature. I have two of these heaters. They radiate heat for quite awhile even when turned off.

Portable Radiator Heater

I am beyond satisfied with my new heater. I use it in my living room & my office space, & it warms both rooms well. My one warning would be it's height to width ratio I'd use some precaution if you're dragging it around hot.

We have some Delonghi heaters that are quite old and still in operation. This is why we trusted these heaters and bought three more of them. Work well! Don't trust imitators!

The Real Thing

These heaters performed outstanding recently when it recahed -11 as a supplemental heat source for the main system which struggles to keep up below 5 degrees. Ran two of these on high for about 16 hours in a roughly 1,000sqft space and allowed the main system to run much less, which previously would be non-stop at those temperatures. I also tested these, running both on high with main system off and kept the same area at 68 degrees when it was 35 outside. Highly recommend this unit.

Great Space Heater

Great heater for the money! We are wintering in Michigan in our RV for the first time and needed an additional heat source. This heater has kept our 28ft 5th wheel very comfortable and saved us on propane. I do not run on high unless the temps dip below freezing. I can run it on low when temps are above 40 and it keeps the camper close to 60 (which is where we are comfortable)! Very happy with our purchase!

Great Heater for our 5th Wheel!

We liked this heater. I read many reviews and decided to buy it. It performed as expected (which was good). However, we have sculptured carpet and the unit was "tipsy" on the carpet   It actually tipped into the wall at one time.   We thought about setting it on a board on the carpet but decided to return it instead.  The wheels are a little small which makes the unit a little top-heavy. Good unit, just not for our situation. It also trips our circuit breaker.

I purchased this electric oil filled radiant radiator this week and am not happy. I set it up in my 12x12 ft. bedroom infront of the window and set the temperature at the highest 6 and turned on the 2 switches to use 1500 w. After 4 hrs the temperature around the window was only 67F and at the bedroom door it was only 71F. So if this is the highest temperature I'd say it's not what Delonghi is promoting and I'm sending it back. Plus it's impossible to get through to them by phone for help.

Not a good product, don't buy it.
