[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had previously owned a TG-6 which was great for hiking. It took a lot of damage outside and produced great close-up pictures. The TG-7 is an improved version. The spider was about 7mm in size, handheld with no stabilization

Examining the gaskets and locks - it is quite something compared to your average dslr or mirrorless camera. Plus, got some accessories on Amazon and it is great. Plus, the macro abilities are truly amazing. They're quite literal when they say they have a "microscope" mode.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a real old-school pocket camera.   I got it to supplement my GoPro for underwater stills.  The camera is very beefy and takes good enough pictures under water.   For everything on dry land, I use my superior phone camera.   I'm glad it has GPS and it's NOT a touch screen.    I do wish it had a lens cover like the old versions did.  Also I wish they included a real manual on how to use it.     Charging via USB-C is fantastic.  No more proprietary charging thing that always gets lost.    It does seem to lose charge completely and all its settings including the date after a while.  Not sure if it's by (bad) design, or I have something left on.  
There are still a ton of features I need to experiment with.     
Overall, this camera is another tool for my tool belt.   It serves a specific purpose.   If you have the need, this can be it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] my $250 ulefone armor 22 rugged cell phone had a significantly better camera then this TG-7 very disappointed in the image quality especially for the price. landscape photos taken at noon on a cloudless day arnt even good enough quality to use as a wall paper on a 1920x1080 computer monitor. you can only have a 5 mb Photo on reciews so i did a photo over lay with a zoomed in clip for resolution. i would NOT recommend this camera unless all you do is micro. i will be returning it. just not aorth 450 bucks
