Really like the convenience of a wrist monitor, so I took this to my doctor's office to compare the readings with the arm cuff they use %26 it was spot-on.  That was not the case with others I've tried.  Also, really like that it lets you know when your wrist is in the best position for accurate results.  It does track just one person's results, so not good for sharing unless you record your readings elsewhere.

I have a traditional bp cuff but didn't use it as it was a hassle to put on and use. So I looked for  something easier to use and give me a "ballpark" bp reading. I first tried the all-in-one monitors that you slip on your upper arm as I read they were more accurate than wrist monitors. I bought and tested 4 monitors, but still didn't like the process of adjusting them on my upper arm. I tested 7 bp wrist monitors next. I found them just as accurate as the upper arm monitors but MUCH easier to put on. Some had nice features like being rechargeable instead of battery powered, a backlit display and even talked. But I chose this Omron for ease of securely putting on with little adjustment (fitting my larger 7.5 inch wrist), a positioning meter telling you if you have your arm at the right level and lights up when correct, has an app, and it is the highest rated by the AMA. It is for only one user, which is all I need (the Omron GOLD model is for two users), and was easily the most expensive, even twice as expensive, but the features this has, meant I would actually use it every now and then as I don't wear it. TIP: for an accurate reading make sure you have your elbow on a HARD SURFACE along with sitting up straight and feet flat on the floor.

Best of the 11 bp monitors I tried

GET THIS B/P CUFF! Does more than what is advertised. I got it for my nurse, and she loves it. The battery life is way longer than her her last one. I set it up for her and I scanned through the instructions when I got it delivered and the next morning I set it up without the instructions, it's so user friendly!

Amazing, User Friendly!

The small size and silent operation make this a great product. It takes some practice at first  to get it positioned on the wrist correctly but now it's easy and quick.  Position indicators on the device really help to guide proper use.  Syncs to free app on phone to track each event and charts overall progress. Can even export stats to computer.

Well made and silent operation

I have an older model that I have used for years ... maybe 10 or 12.  It was used on the upper arm, it was heavy, took 4 batteries and didn't like to be used over a shirt sleeve.  It was as accurate as could be and the link to my phone was perfect.  It was because the old one was so great, and still going, that I decided to get a new one.  The new one goes on the wrist, so it is much easier to use.  I just push up my sleeve.  It is lighter, quieter, and sometimes I think it is faster.  It sends even more info to my phone and the app that goes with it is brilliant.  Can you tell, I can't say enough for either one of them?  jw

This wrist cuff Blood Pressure monitor is very easy to use and easy to read; better than my previous arm cuff attached to a base monitor.  

I was pleased to see that it can be used without having to use the smart phone app and it still stores data.  I will use the app later, but initially i just wanted the reading.

It comes with the batteries included so it's ready to use right from the box.  It's compact, convenient and a reasonable price.  

Excellent device.

I've used Omron Blood Pressure wrist monitors for almost 10 years. Because I cannot use arm cuff BP monitors I use the wrist option and find that it's as accurate as the cuff. When questioned about it I compared it, while at the doctor's office, that my wrist reading was identical to the cuff reading.  First recommended by an RN in a facility where I lived, I bought this monitor that was exactly like hers. From then on the RN always ask for my reading taken by me rather than by her. I'd have great success following the directions on how to monitor my BP and record it for references.

Omron Series 7 is as accurate as a Cuff Monitor

I'm amazed by how quiet it is! I find that it gives accurate readings. It was easy to set the date and time, and to pair it using the bluetooth connectivity. The display, although not backlit, is  easy to see. It does not beep when any of its buttons are pressed. Nor does it beep once the readings are complete. I like that it comes with a hard plastic storage case that snaps shut. And that two AAA size batteries are included.

Quality!

Pairing through bluetooth was NOT easy. Omron's instructions are vague and unhelpful. The pairing videos do NOT match the design of the 7 model. The bluetooth button is NOT on the front but on the backside of the monitor opposite the battery location. No where in the app OR in the written instructions does it tell you what the device will be named. However once connected the device is easy and painless to take accurate BP readings that automaticly sync with the app. 4/5

In theory this BP cuff great. It is light weight, slim,  and super quiet which are great attributes. Unfortunately, it comes off feeling cheap. The plastic casing feels low quality. The screen is not backlit which is problematic when reading the display. You have to look at it from straight ahead or you can't read the numbers. It is so quiet that you can't hear it run.  These concerns are no problem if you're monitoring your own blood pressure, but if you're using it for someone who can't talk or tell you when it's complete it's a guessing game. If you move their arm to check the progress,  it errors out and you have to start again. Plus with it being battery powered it goes through the 2 AAAs pretty fast. Overall I'm not impressed and wish I wouldn't have spent the money on this one.
