We've had trouble with pigeons messing up our balcony for years. This took care of that problem, pronto! A beautiful bird, but very scary. It even startled me when I first saw it!

I like that I can fill it with sand so the wind don't blow it off the top of the coop and that it's light weight and can hang from a tree.I put 2 of these guys out along with some DIY "scare devices"and I have not lost another chicken yet...fingers crossed..

I was surprised to see how well these owls keep birds off my pool cover. I used to get dozens of birds on my cover and they sometimes poked holes in it. Since I placed these owls on my pool deck I have not see a single bird on the cover. I think it helps if you occasionally move the owls to different positions as recommended.

We usually get a lot of birds in our back yard, and they like to nest under our patio when we are away.  We ordered the owl to keep the birds out when we are gone.  I hung it with a bungy cord when it arrived, and the birds refused to come close for at least a day.  After four days, I haven't moved it yet and only a few birds have ventured close to the house.  I'm happy so far since the owl is effective.

The figure is lifelike and it gets the job done. It repelled  the noisy destructive woodpeckers and I can once again enter my home without fear of being attacked by nesting mockingbird

This was better than i thought it would be.   The big question was, did it work?  No, I don't think so.   Wait,  this is due to human error, not the owl!  i have a medical condition, making it hard for me to go outside most of  the time.   The owl did not get repositioned.   Therefore, it was nothing to be afraid of.   I'm taking it down, waiting and starting over.

If you have unwanted pigeons on your roof BUY THIS. This is the second time I have purchased this owl. The first one was 20 years ago and  the color had finally faded out so I bought this new one. Yup you guessed it no more pigeons and no more pigeon poop. You can fill it with sand or dirt or just stick in on an unused vent and all those birds are gone.

hey it's great for the scarecrow issue especially if you have those wood borning bees and keeps woodpeckers from eating the larvae .

So far since putting hootie up on a stake, and alternating him around my raised beds, nothing has dug in my dirt. I like him even if he didn't work. Great price too!
