Appearance

It's very nice.  Very sturdy and solid.  Wood is attractive and I am glad I ordered it.  It was easy to put together.

The style matches other parts of my furniture.  The style is solid, non shaky, color is perfectly bright, the drawer holds all you could ask - pad, pens, ruler, staples and tape.  This is a beautiful desk, solid and great for use.

Beautiful Desk had to drill holes to recess screws to put sides together screws were too short!!

Desk was a good price for what it is. (Same desk is also available from overstock.com website for a similar price, but decided to order from Walmart as a stronger retailer with better service IMO).  Ordered this desk for my son's room so he could put his new computer on it and do his homework, etc.  Bought it hoping it would match the color of the mission bedroom furniture set he already has that we got several years ago from another furniture store and, happily, it does!  The desk was fairly easy to put together; however, we had a minor issue with the desk we received in that the pre-drilled holes for the legs were slightly off.  Because of this issue, we could only use one set of the holes on each side to attach the desk legs.  We worked it out by using the front holes on one side and the back ones on the other side.  Once we screwed in the main center leg screws, it seems sturdy enough and think it will be ok long-term :) The only other issue we had was the first order we received from Walmart that was supposed to be this desk was actually another product that we had to send back (counter stool), but that is an issue with the Walmart ordering/shipping process vs the desk itself.  Overall, happy with this desk and purchase!
