We bought 3 of these last year for 75$. Total came out to less then what 1 is now. no idea why or how the price would go up to 300$ def not worth it at that price but They are worth the 75$. The chairs are decent not the best build or wood I've seen but it does make the room look a little elegant with the color. I gave it a 3 star because the screws they sent with it to connect the legs on the seat are way to big. When I tightened them the screws broke past the wood that connected to the seat so I had to fix the broken and cracked wood and patch it up and repaint the wood and get smaller screws for it. It's like they didn't really make much effort to make sure all sizes and parts were correct for it. I was hoping maybe I just got a defective one but all 3 chairs were like that.
