I bought this to remove some stuck rotors. It worked amazingly. Popped the rotors right off. Ill never have to beat on rotors or brake drums again

Best purchase ever! I struggled with removing the rear rotors of my 2009 Chevy Traverse. I soaked them with PB Blaster and hit them so much with a dead blow hammer and eventually a sledgehammer. Afraid that I would damage something I gave up and started doing some research. Found a YouTube video with someone using a hydraulic gear puller from Harbor Freight, but the span was inadequate for my 13” rotors. I eventually came across this tool from another YouTube video and decided to spend the money and give it a shot. Pretty much maxed out the span on this puller, maybe could go a little more than 13” but not much more. Definitely needed to use the provided ratchet strap to help keep it on the rotor. Had to bend back the brake shield a little to get puller on, but it bent back after nicely. Once I started tightening on the bolt it only took about 10-15 minutes. As I tightened I would hit the rotor with a dead blow hammer, tighten a little more and hit again. I did put some heat on it as well around the hub area and eventually it broke free. This really save me a trip to the local repair shop and save me $$. Highly recommended!

Best tool for removing rotors!

Fantastic!  It pulled the two locked brake drums off within a few minutes.  The '65 VW had sat there for fifteen years.  Totally worth the price.

Great brake drum puller

A very heavy duty made tool. Used on 98 Tacoma. Had to bend the backing plate real bad to get hooks in, even after shaving the metal down a lot. However, without this tool I NEVER would have gotten the drums off.  So this kind of expensive tool, for me, was very worth the money.
