[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] i love this robot!! we've tried other brands, but they break over time, and it's also super expensive to replace them. I love the price, so if something does happen, it won't be an arm and a leg to get another.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Wow what an improvement over the traditional litter box. i love that this litter box is slef cleaning, self clearing and doesnt smell. my favorite thing about this litter box is that it weighs my cat everytime they use it. My elderly cat uses it the most, but it helps to know that his weight is maintaining and hes using the box with no issues.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have a 9.5 year old adult, 14 pound adult male long-haired cat. This is my  first robotic litter box. The enclosure is somewhat small for him. It would be nice if there was a raised 2" solid fence at the base of the opening.   My cat tends to scratch litter from the back (enclosed side) towards the front (entrance  opening) to cover his waste;  litter goes out the opening scattering everywhere. My cat tends to eliminate  at the very front of the container.  This means he urinates basically in the same spot. We are seeing a build up on the litter pan (bottom tray that holds the clean litter) This causes the emptying of the used litter to hit in the same spot as well which causes the collection box to fill unevenly.   The rotation of the machine's drum then closes on the  piled up waste spreading it back onto the interior cylinder.    With this being said I am  not be able to let the machine operate for more than a couple of days without redistributing the waste in the collection box.  Additionally, it is necessary for me to physically wipe the litter pan down where my cat pees in the same spot (every 2 or 3 days).  My cat eats and drinks at will; consuming a fair amount during a 24 hr period.   Therefore he visits the litter box frequently. 

The machine works.   Perhaps if we had started using a litter box like this when our cat was young we would not be seeing the issues that were having.

Operations well...

Big enough for my largest cat, with a small profile for my tiny apartment. Even my special needs cat uses it, he is extra tall and long, with only one back leg.  Safety features to protect my cats. Easy user interface and app. Operates smoothly and keeps my apartment smelling clean like fresh laundry. Large bin allows one week changing for four cats. Easy to change, easy to clean. I have one cat that gets frequent diarrhea. Drips pop right off surface once dried, and I don't have to take it apart to spot clean. Deodorizing feature is a nice touch, and cartridge is of high quality. I do not need this feature even with four cats. My mom walked in and complimented the smell of my home, and thought I had shampood my carpets or had a plug in air freshener. I plan to buy another in a larger size and to put this one in my bedroom so my cats can sleep with me with the door closed at night. This is worth the investment, and I would recommend for those who have not tried one yet. Cleaning the cat pan is no longer a dreaded chore. It is just like taking out the trash. The bin comes out and goes back in easily, and you simply replace the bag just like with a trash can. It's quiet, and even my formerly feral cat is not afraid of it. You scan set it to manual if you need to get them used to it or are afraid to let it run when you are not around. It stops running when my cat pokes his head in to see. I have read scary articles, but this one has proven very safe, and put my mind at ease. I have replaced four large covered double door cat pans with this one automatic robot, and will not look back. Just take the plunge, you will not regret it! Once a week changings for FOUR CATS! House smells like I have NO CATS. Need I say more?

It does work well with other cat Russian Blue who loves it, took a few days to understand it, but sat in front to watch it clean. Overall a great unit, weighs the cats which I liked. Overall if you have cats under 28%23 will work, 30  I wouldn't consider seeing it first.

Great but not for Huge cats

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought both the litter robot 4 and this one at the same time to compare. This one came first. Was impressed at the time until Litter Robot 4 came. This one cats pee out the front and kick litter out the front. I cant connect it to my wifi.  There is a small hole in the back that my cat has managed to pee through which drips onto the motor. It is much smaller also than the Litter Robot, but if you have a smaller cat it would be fine. I have 11 cats and 4 of them took to it within the first day.  The step provided is flimsy so i put a small step stool in front of it. The litter robot comes with nice stairs but is much higher. I'm returning this one and purchasing another Litter Robot 4. It is worth the extra money.

really wanted to like it!

cat litter easily gets out of litter box as my cats try to cover their waste up and it goes out onto floor and also on the middle part which has a small area in which it will fall under the drum rotating area and you have to scoop it out. This is all because the litter box area is not deep enough.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The heavy urine clumps Have a hard time falling off the sides so the box Doesn't always empty perfectly. Height wise a little too compact for larger cats. The bag/box portion is poorly thought out. It is very quiet and moves very slowly and cautiously. I'm glad I gave it a try and will continue to use, but might not repurchase.
