Excellent coffee grinder

I really prefer an espresso grind for my drip coffee. I've burnt out other grinders because of the finer grind that I enjoy. This grinder is a champ! It powers through the beans and produces a very nice and consistent grind.

I Kill Grinders

We used this coffee grinder for about a month now.  It takes a few runs to determine the best grind and time to get the best output for our coffeemaker and taste.  It is easy to adjust time and grind.  Both setting consistently provide the desire grind output.  It is not quiet but is as quiet or quieter than our blade grinder (bean beater) was and it is faster and more consistent.  I certainly is much quieter than the espresso machines I have encountered, and quieter than out Nespresso Vertuo  that is getting noisy. The bean hopper bin holds about 3 days worth for us although we do need to monitor if there are still enough beans remaining.  The grinder is not tiny but certainly small enough to sit quietly on our counter beside the coffee maker.  There is a little static in the ground coffee bin that may scatter coffee if I am not careful.  The grinder appears solid and well constructed.  Very happy with the ease of use and grind quality.

Quality Grinder Good Value

Extremely pleased I had a lesser value one  I only got to use it twice before it just broke this one really takes a licking and keeps on grinding easily cleaned well-made and does the job you want what more  asked for

Easy and fun to use, doesn't take up much counter space. I find the grind consistent. Everything is cleanable, which is awesome, except the actual grinding mechanism, which is unfortunate. But, overall, we really love it.

Easy and Fun to Use

We've been using this about a month now and enjoying it.  It's not exceptionally sturdy, or 'professional' feeling.  It holds beans and grinds them.  They pour out of the cup.  Seems legit that way.  The timing mechanism feels cheap and loose.  But, you set it to your grind time, it's not something that gets messed with much.  It doesn't appear to vibrate to different durations during processing, so I'd say it was a minor annoyance

Working just fine.

Well, forget about using this for fine or espresso grind!  It clogs up and is very difficult to clear out.  I was sold on the OXO reputation and the overall design, the large hopper was what I was really excited about.  I've been using whole bean coffee for decades and always used a MR. COFFEE grinder, which is only capable of grinding small amount at a time, but handles super fine espresso grind just fine, it just takes time.
So, I had to choose between keeping the big hopper OXO grinder and giving up on espresso grind, or going back to old reliable Mr. Coffee and the small batch process.
I'm old, I don't have time to waste grinding coffee, I kept the new OXO grinder.

Wish I could give this a "Maybe" rating.

Its a very good price for the quality of grind. 
Gave it a 4 out of 5 for appearance though. It lacks any style, and is sad looking for something that needs to permanently sit on the counter

good value but ugly

Not only did not work when plugged in, I had trouble getting beans out of the machine to send back. I bet this thing is impossible to clean as grinding elements deep in plugged core.

This machine started out to be the best thing since sliced bread, but only after a month of use it no longer works.  When it was working it was fabulous a lot quicker than my old machine and quieter too.
