I love the design of the glass container and I love the cover. My only subtraction is the hollow quality of the Gasket, so I am super careful with them. I really like the cut-out that allows me to remove the gasket for washing without it getting damaged. 
The design is practically flawless like so many of OXO's products.
This was not my first container. I had purchased it before and I love using them more than my other containers.

I'm really happy with the OXO 3. 5-cup glass rectangular containers. The quality is excellent—sturdy, well-made, and the lids seal tightly, keeping food fresh. The size is perfect for small to medium portions. My only wish is that OXO would offer a rectangle container size between 3. 5 cups and 8 cups, as that would make it even more versatile for meal prep and storage. Overall, a high-quality container that I would definitely recommend!

perfect container!

The removable seal comes out and reinserts easily, but also remains secure in the lid and seals well while in use. Cannot speak highly enough about how much I love using and cleaning these containers due to the removable gaskets. Highly recommend to everyone I know.

These containers are great. I just wish they sold replacement tops so when the top gets set on a warm burner or touches something hot so it no longer fits or works with a seal it can be replaced without having to buy the whole unit.

These Smart Seal glass containers are made from borosilicate glass which is stronger and less prone to thermal shock than the regular glass containers made from soda lime like newer Pyrex and Glasslock brands are. We have had too many Glasslocks break and shatter all over the place under normal usage conditions so we switched to Oxo and got rid of all the other brands we had. 
The one thing that could be improved with Oxo glassware is the lids are sometimes difficult to put on.

Overall good and safer than alternatives

I like these & use them for meal prep but only because I couldn't find something else. I wish they were more wide than deep/narrow. I feel my food is squished. Although I like it, I wouldn't buy more for that reason

Good but deep

The edges of the containers, rectangular or round, chip very easily, especially in the dishwasher, and leave sharp edges.
