Pricey but satisfied

I had this for a few years and sadly had to replace it after breaking the bowl. It's heavy but slid into the sink, which happened before without breaking so it is pretty heavy duty. It does what it needs to well and I like that it's a little less plastic around my produce.

My favorite kitchen tool

First one failed, my fault. 2nd one the plastic basket weave broke and the spinner broke. So I'm hoping this glad bowl lady's a long time without me breaking the bowl !

Glass Bowl Spinner

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I definitely prefer this glass bowl much more than the plastic version. It feels like good quality and I really like the fact that the entire set is dishwasher safe. I eat my daily salad in one setting and my salad is around 10 oz (or 10 cups) so it fits into this large bowl perfectly. The 6. 2 qt glass bowl is a perfect size for my need. Anything smaller than this would be too crowded for my ideal preference.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got this because my small plastic one from Amazon was breaking at the handle from the weight of the veggies I was spinning. This one feels sturdier, and I chose glass to avoid plastic. However, the part where the food sits is still plastic, so keep that in mind.  

My biggest gripe is the size—it's massive. That might be great if I wanted to use it as a serving bowl, but for everyday use, it's just not practical. Also, if your veggies are sliced too thin, they can slip through the venting slits. This is frustrating for me since I use premixed veggies, and the carrots tend to fall through.  

Aside from the plastic, the quality is solid, and it seems to hold up well.
