[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought these to replace a set that we had been using for more than 10 years. No one here was able to remember cooking without them! These are very durable and long lasting. It is easy to select the grind you want. The price was also good also.

These have a nice feel in the hand.
The opening is at the top so no salt or pepper spills on the table after grinding.
Ease of grind was important to me with hands that are arthritic. Variations of the grind is satisfactory for me.
I would recommend them to any person who is looking for a manually operated salt and pepper mill.
The brand is one reason I chose to buy these. My experience with OXO products in the past has been very goo.

Easy to use manual grind salt %26 pepper shaker!

These are the best hand grinders we have ever owned. We bought one pair and were so impressed we had to buy a second pair so we have one in the kitchen and one in the dining room now.  They are sturdy, very easy to use for my arthritic hands, and can to easily set for the perfect grind.  I cannot see us needing any other grinders ever again! Highly recommended!!

These grinders are a better quality than many others in the same price range.  Our last set lasted years longer than other brands we had had in the past.  We did not hesitate to buy the same ones again.

I have been on a search to find the right salt and pepper shakers.  Love the design and especially the SIZE of these.  OXO brand is always quality, and I expect to be using these for some time.

Good Grinder

These fill from the bottom but the cap secures with only a quarter turn. As a result, about once a month and you're left with a pile of salt or peppercorns on the counter or on the floor because the cap falls of when you pick it up. You'll use twice as much salt or pepper becasue half of it ends up on the floor. Not recommended.

"Mess-Free" is the absolute wrong description of these
