Pan works great. No stick. A 10 inch would be nice to have too

I've only used this pan a few times. So far it has out preformed my more expansive pans.

A must have

Fantastic pans, the nonstick is very durable and works great. Even with scrambled eggs they hardly need scrubbing. These are our family's new go-to pans for all cooking.

It's a good pan for the money. It's got a metal handle so it can be used in the oven too.

I also bought this pan on Cook's Country recommendation. This 12 inch works great until you place a 12 inch lid on it. On mine it is out of round at location where handle and rivet are assembled. There is roughly 1/4" gap (see photo), by the way this pan does not come with a lid however I added a 12 inch lid from another OXO Pan/Lid product. My guess as to what happened, on punching and inserting handle to pan stress from manufacturing may have caused this deformation. I suggest quality control look at this area and not assume it is round.

Good pan but...

I have a flat top electric stove and this pan conducts heat extremely well. I used it at least 3-4 times a week. No dishwasher, hand wash only with a sponge and no abrasives, and only plastic non stick safe utensils. The non stick coating started coming off after about 20 months. Kind of a bummer but I did get a lot of use out of it. Not sure if I'll buy again as I was hoping to get at least a few years of use out of it.

Great pan for flat top—coating came off after 20 months

I enjoy cooking all types and a large skillet is an essential tool. I also have the 10-inch skillet that I probably use more often when I cook for myself. These skillets are the best ones I have found in years in terms of weight, balance, even heating, easy to clean and store EXCEPT except for what I consider a fatal flaw: the cooking surface is not flat from edge to edge. For instance, when I try to cook a crepe, I cannot use the 10-inch pan because instead of a crepe, the thin batter forms a ring around the perimeter of the pan. Furthermore, the 12-inch pan is also undesirable because the batter tends to deform into an egg shape more often a round circle. I use the pans for stir-fry and to and other purposes but choose another when I need a flat surface (that acts flat). These are great pans if you are not particular about the flatness. — If OXO fixed this flaw; I'd consider it #1 at twice the price.
