This loaf pan is perfect for making my pumpkin, banana, peanut butter, bread loaf! Just grease the pan, pour in the batter and bake. The loaf releases from the pan easily and clean-up is easy-peasy!!

Good pan. I make banana bread in this often, more like weekly. I do use parchment paper ans the cke slides right out. It cooks gluten free well too and cake is evenly heated. I've made meat loaf in this as well. Very versatile

Versatile and effective

I love this 1lb bread loaf pan. I bought 2 and love them both. Order them to make homemade cinnamon raisin bread and honey wheat pepita bread. Bread comes out without sticking and I love that they are so easy to clean. The corners are curved which is wonderful. Beautifully made. Passed the word to my mother and she bought 2 as well.

I have been using these pans for 3 years now and I bake bread once every two weeks and they still perform and look like new. 
I'm so impressed that I'm going to buy two more. The best bread pan I've ever used. My wife was sceptical about the price when I bought them but now she thinks they are worth the price. She makes all her loafs (banana, Zucchini, and Blueberry) in them.

I've had this pan for a few years; it was bought to make an instant bread recipe that required using a metal pan (to be able to go into a cold oven while it's heating up), and I only had glass loaf pans at that time. I guess I should've been wary when reading about the "micro-textured pattern" that allegedly "minimizes surface contact to improve airflow for even baking." This is just nonsense: if you pour batter/dough into this, it'll get into all those nooks -- and then is close to impossible to remove again. Why wouldn't increasing the actual surface area (by adding little pyramids) for a near-liquid result in a more area to stick to? What airflow are we talking about? Under a dough? Marketing copy that sounds impressive, but actually hints at what's wrong with this pan: no matter how well you treat it - grease with butter only, soft cloth to clean, it just sticks on the bottom. Not on the sides, by the way. Maybe this thing would work better if they'd just left the bottom the same as the sides. Now, after a few years, the tips of the pyramids started to flake off. I had almost given up baking my favorite bread when I discovered a loaf pan that's NOT non-stick, just heavy-duty aluminum. That one is just a joy to use. (One time I thought something wouldn't rise very high and didn't grease all the way to the top, yet the baked good came out without any problems anyway, even though the dough had no oil in it.) And it's also made in the US and even a bit cheaper, though it'll last forever. 

Maybe I'm not the only one with bad experience, seeing that the store I bought this loaf pan doesn't sell it anymore, neither do most other retailers I checked. That's why I added my review here, hoping it'll warn potential buyers AND maybe get OXO to reconsider. (Although they probably don't mind NOT selling things that last forever...)
