It is so much faster, efficient, and less messy than using a regular knife. My husband decided he has a new affliction for pineapples and this has made prep so easy.

Just cut off the top and place it on the top and start turning. You get perfect spiral pineapple with the core still attached to the pineapple. Love it!

Less mess and more pineapple.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This pineapple slicer made my life easier. We eat pineapples a lot almost everyday so I really needed this. I would usually peel the whole pinapple then slice it but now no need to peel  I cut the head of the pineapple then I center the slicer and start turning it. As I turn it , it goes down while coring it see the picture. It is easy, simple and very fast.

Not to mention it's less Messy. We typically buy 1 or 2 whole pineapples a month and I have my husband do the slicing as I felt I wasted too much of the pineapple using a knife. Now, I can do it myself! I'm not sure if it would survive for long-term use, but it's good for our household needs.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This ratcheting pineapple slicer is pretty easy to use. It has measurements on the side depending on how big your pineapple is. It's a pretty easy tool to use, but you do have to be pretty precise in how you place it over the core. So far I like, but I do wish it sliced the pineapple a little bit thicker. Overall, I like it and love that I can throw it in the dishwasher after using it. My only concern is the longevity of it.
