Simple design makes it efficient to press garlic.

Made with excellent grip and long-lasting components.

Seems to work well and is very nice but lacks the unpacking item present with Susie garlic press I had back in the 80s and 90s that would unpack a loaded press from the inside out using a red plastic kind of doohickey that would force the crushed garlic out of the holes... Otherwise a very convenient item with a very nice handle!

I needed a second garlic press for my camp kitchen. I've that the OXO brand is reliable, sturdy and presses garlic through the holes without the press distorting like other brands I've tried. OXO brand of utensils are thoughtfully designed and made to last almost a lifetime.

OXO brand is the best!

It's a garlic press, but rugged. Soft grip handles are nice, and so is the fact that the upper, lower and center section make cleaning easy. So does the fact that most garlic is expelled.

Presses garlic !

I love all OXO products and have found that this garlic press is just as amazing as all the other OXO products I have. It is strong! I'm have gone through so many garlic presses, struggling to press hard enough to mince but that is no problem with this one. It's also very easy to clean and comfortable to hold with a nice rubber grip on the handle.

Wish I had bought it sooner. Works so much better than my old, cheap, unbranded one did. Easy to clean too.

This is a great garlic press!

Although not easily handlesthis is stillgood quality.  Cleaning is fairly easy if put to soak immediatly after use as I hand wash my dishes. .Recommend for strong hands. Price is reasonable.

Good quality, excellent grip

I'd expect more from an OXO product. The handle is sturdy; so I know it's not going to break. But it's difficult to clean and takes up way too much room in dishwasher. The part of the press you put the garlic in doesn't come out, makes it very difficult to clean. It only partially hinges out, so you have to dangle it across an entire row of the top shelf of the top rack of the dishwasher, and even then, the water still doesn't hit inside the whole thing. The rubber grip isn't as nice as other OXO products I've come to live over the years. I'm just not impressed at all.

Misses the Mark of OXO Quality

Odd three piece design. Easy to operate but more difficult to clean the the two piece. Comfy handles and easy to use

Fundamentally this works…but it's awkward to use. The hinged basket for the clove of garlic is weird. It is not big enough for more than one clove. And it doesn't have a means to clean out the basket aside from picking out the smashed garlic remains with the tip of a knife.

Spend more for something better

It's a weird, 3-piece design which is not particularly conducive for use, but exponentially more so disastrously when attempting to clean after struggling through the use of it. Going to try to return it today.
