Handle Durability

Sturdiness

I generally like to buy all stainless steel tools for my kitchen. Based on the fact that the rivets and connections of the all metal tools tend to rust overtime, I decided this time to buy this strainer that eliminates that problem. It's slightly bigger than my last one and deeper. Based on the fact that the rivets and connections of the all metal tools tend to rust overtime, I decided to buy this strainer that eliminates that problem. It's slightly bigger than my last one and deeper. It fits over a standard pot, and the handle is very ergonomic. I think I'll have this one for a really long time.

Solid product

walmart.com

I have always been totally satisfied with products made by OXO, so when I needed to replace my ages-old 8" metal stainer, it was a no-brainer. So I knew the size, material (stainless steel) and brand of what I wanted; now I wanted the cheapest price. You guessed it. This strainer is very good quality with a comfortable handle and has now been through my dishwasher three times with no discoloration, which to me is the real test of quality for a stainless steel product. No, I am not a paid shill for OXO!

Totally Satisfied

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] very large and sturdy. Great quality. not flimsy like most strainers. easy to use. love that you can sit it on the bowl and it actually stays there without falling. love that when you wash it, it doesn't get bend out if shape.

We use this to put family sized Tea bags in, when they need squeezed and they break, which they inevitably do. It keeps the Tea from spilling into the pan.😜 We also use it for straining Lemonade. Unless you like pulp. Then you pick out the seeds and put the pulp back in. Fits my needs perfectly.

Great for a Tea Strainer, huge size!

works great and very sturdy handle that can tolerate heavier liquids and solids with ease. high quality strainer

BOUGHT TO USE MAINLY FOR CANNING. SO FAR IT HAS MADE IT THROUGH ONE CANNING SEASON AND WORKED FINE.

This strainer is well made. It's large. , sits well on top of a vessel, and since it's silicone it doesn't slip. I would like a smaller one too.

Great strainer

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is sturdy as all get out!
I bought this item for rice and works great. Excellent value and would buy for someone as a gift. Good shopping.

My new kitchen addition

Making big batch ginger shots using a blender.
I ran the juice through 2X.
Helps if one has weak grip for squeezing milknut bag

NOT AS FINE OF A MESH AS MY OLD 8 INCH MAINSTAYS STAINLESS STEEL FINE MESH STRAINER! I'LL KEEP THIS ONE, BUT I WON'T EVER BUY IT AGAIN, I'LL GET ANOTHER MAINSTAYS!!!

NOT SO MUCH FINE MESH AFTER ALL!!!
