It stirs as intended. It's perfect for stir fry and sauces. It washes up pretty well with minor staining from sauces like spaghetti. I do like the smooth feeling as well as the hole in the end to hang it up. Very nice design. Made very well. I'm impressed with how fancy it looks.

They also don't make that metal scraping on metal sound, the one that tends to offset the otherwise peaceful nature of stirring. This wood turner is grip easy, easy to clean, but not dish washer safe.
