Reverse flow grill/smoker

So far everything is going good. Easy set up. Cooking it great.  Love this grill. Got it for father's day 2026

Set up

It's not my first smoker. I haven't started to put together just let. My only concern will the factory paint hold up. Having one before this. Paint on the offset peeled right off. Causing RUST later on. While let's see.

Great quality... But hope.

Love the grill portion but I'm new to smoking and having trouble finding information on the reverse flow smoking.  The owners guide has very little and searching on line I'm not finding a lot of information.

Lack of information

So far so good, only issue is that once assembled the vents on the charcoal box do not close. Seems like the pilot holes were drilled on the wrong side so once installed, there’s not way to close in order to control the air flow to the charcoal.

Almost perfect

My family got this as a birthday gift.  I seasoned the smoker the same day I got it.  I have 6 slabs on it now. I do need to get some high temperature tape to put on the left side but overall it seems to be a good smoker.  The real test comes in about an hour.

Good smoker, some heat escapes

The smoker itself is great, but when I was putting it together and screwing in the thermostat, it snapped without hardly any pressure.

Thermometer Broke

This is incredible, it's very spacious. The only issue is that where you adjust the height, the armrest came detached.

We picked this grill up on a season end clearance and wheeled it out to load the grill, handle on the drawer broke while loading it into the truck. The rest of the grill seems great and high quality, not sure who the loser was in accounting that decided to cheap out on the hardware, but please sack that guy.

Poor design on drawer handle

Handle pulled off, paint is peeling, it would be nice if the handles were welded to the body of the grill
