The medium yellow color made it easy to apply and ensure full coverage, while the one-step formula streamlined the installation process, saving me time and effort. The bond it created was strong and durable, giving me confidence in the integrity of the joints for long-term use. Plus, its all-weather capability meant I could use it in various conditions without worry. Overall, Oatey FlowGuard Gold Medium Yellow and All Weather One-Step CPVC Cement proved to be an excellent choice for my bathroom project.

Amazing cement for the not so handy person and handyman alike

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Oatey is the one and only go to pipe glue if you want to get it done right and leak free. Theo product are hands down the best on the market and is preferred by professional plumbers everywhere you look. This cement (and all other adhesives they sell) come with an easy applicator to ensure it goes on easy and smooth   It's not too thick and not to thin where it drips everywhere like others on the market. I've been using this stuff for years and would never by another brand. Even though I got this in exchange for a review I would totally give them 5 stars every time. You won't be disappointed in the longevity and ease of application

The one and only adhesive to get it done right

The Flowgard was used with the plumbing upgrades in the bathroom sink. It applied easily on the pipes and worked great! This is a brand my dad has used in the past and was happy to try it out again! He said he can also use it in the kitchen as well so this product is very versatile!

Worked Great!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Oatey 1 step yellow cement was easy to use. It comes with a built in applicator  which makes it easy to use. Make sure you have ventilation while using this and wear your PPE while using it.  It dries fast so you have to be ready to put your piping together or you will have to start over again make sure pipes are clean from debris and moisture . You must hold the pipe together for 30 seconds for curing  time. You can also look on their website for more information on curing times for size of pipe you are using. You can use this with cold water systems and hot water systems up to 200°F / 93°C.. It also helps protect pipes from corrosion. The best pipes to use this with are weld copper pipes. The smell wasn't too bad as long as you have enough ventilation.

I used it about 1 month ago and it is still holding well. I have not had any leaks from the lines. This product is LoVOC. It has an applicator inside attached to the cap to make for quick and easy work. This product did meet my expectations and I do not have anything to dislike about it.

As I work on my bathroom remodel, I am in process of replacing some piping.  Oatey Flowguard Gold is the perfect cement for binding the cpvc piping together.  The applicator is built into the lid to make application and storage easy.  A nice coating on the inside of the pipe and around the connecting pipe edge and fit together.  Binds and dries quickly.

Good Adhesive Cement

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The product I'm reviewing is the Oatey FlowGuard Gold Medium Yellow All Weather One-Step CPVC Cement. This product comes in a 4 fl.oz. 118mL metal can and is easy to apply thanks to the built in lid dauber. This formula is supposed to help protect pipes from corrosion. This cement is recommended for cold and hot water systems up to 200°F / 93°C. The recommended application temperature is 0°F to 110°F / -17°C to 43°C. The cement has a medium set speed and only needs 5 minutes to cure for good handling strength. Allow 1 hour cure for cold water applications and 6 hour cure for hot water applications. After cured, pressure testing can be performed up to 180 psi but DO NOT TEST WITH AIR. I found this product useful because it's a one step application without needing a primer. Would recommend.
