I bought as a replacement for my last one, same pump just not pumping as much anymore after 9 years!! Worth the $

Very easy to use. Out of box, read instructions, hooked to hose, put in water on pool cover and plugged in unit.  Worked like a charm.

Pool cover pump

Replaced a 20 yr old pump. This new pump has  done a good job so far. Pumped all water off pool cover well.

ideal for pumping rainwater off of the winter cover

I liked this because it is able to sit flat on the top of cover of pool and suck the water out without creating a vacuum tight against the cover

for the $ it is ok

this DOES NOT come with an on/off switch like it says TWICE in the description. You habe to plug and unplug it. Doesnt seem like this would last very long. Cheap plastic, is worth about half what I paid. I wont buy again. Overall not happy. Im also pretty sure with the speed of the water coming out this is not over 300 gallons per hour.

This looks JUST  like the automatic one but it's not. Just has on /off switch so has to be monitored while using.
