Ocean’s Halo Ramen Broth is hearty and filling, making it the perfect base for any ramen dish! Inspired by Japanese Tokyo-style classic Tonkotsu ramen, this kelp-based broth can be enjoyed for lunch or dinner - try it with our Ramen Noodles and some shoyu (we suggest our No Soy Sauce) for an authentic and easy-to-make bowl of ramen! This is definitely not your average dorm room ramen or cup of instant noodles. It also goes great with steamed vegetables, or try it on its own for an organic bowl of hot soup! Enjoy a garlicky, gingery flavor that pairs perfectly with rice or ramen noodles! Our vegan and organic Ramen Broth saves hours on preparing stock and still provides a premium, high quality, authentic and traditional experience! There’s no end to the Japanese, Korean and Asian-inspired recipes you can implement this broth in! Try it out when making upscale ramen, and toss in some toppings like scallions, garlic, an egg, (maybe some chicken, tofu or pork) our Shichimi Togarashi and other assorted veggies for a stress-free meal. Try our Miso Broth and Pho Broth too! Happy slurping! We work with 1% for the Planet to donate at least 1% of revenue from this item to environmental causes like ocean conservation and food waste mitigation.

This is the best Ramen base I have tried. We like it a little salty and spicy. So I add a couple of extra ingredients

walmart.com

We really love Ocean's Halo products. They are an easy, nutritious meal, made with safe ingredients. We really enjoy the Ramen noodles, and we prepare them with this Ramen broth. Good source of iodine! We add meats and veggies or sometimes we eat them plain as well (If we are in a hurry!)

Easy meal - Great Value - Awesome ingredients

Very nice tasting and cloudy broth! Adds rich texture to Shin ramen when replacing the water in Shin's instructions with this. Whenever I'm out, I buy more.

Excellent with Ramen

This ramen broth is not authentic, but it IS vegetarian, which has been very hard for me to find! It's a little pricey, but it's certainly good enough for me to get as a treat for myself when I'm craving ramen.

Nice vegetarian ramen!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I usually make my own ramen broth from scratch but wanted to try Ocean's Halo Organic Broth. The last was okay lacking in the pork taste that most ramen has. The mouth feel was not the same as fresh made, lacking in a fatty taste. next time I will add pork belly to the broth to get a more traditional ramen broth.

very good substitute for fresh made

Social Nature

I was really disappointed with this product. The flavor was extremely bland and sort of strange straight out of the package. I added soy sauce, which definitely helped, but it also intensified some unidentified and rather unappealing flavor in the broth, which left an unpleasant aftertaste lingering in my mouth. The broth also has an odd, cloudy appearance, as some other reviewers also pointed out. Despite all of that, it still isn't the worst thing I have ever tasted, so I am giving it 2 stars. It has received quite a few positive reviews, so clearly it appeals to some people… I just happen to not be one of them.

Disappointing, bland, odd looking and odd tasting

unfortunately boyfriend and I really didn't like the flavor of the broth at all by its self as it was pretty bland. we added lots of different seasonings to 'save' it. if you have a variety of seasons and spices you will be fine but i purchased in hopes of something really quick.

something to build off of

So gross, tastes like water thats been contaminated with something…☹️

Bad flavor

I had high hopes for this due to so many great reviews but it is SO BLAND and looks like dirty dishwater. Even after a lot of seasonings it is still incredibly bland, like flavored hot water. Don't buy this.

Tastes like hot dishwater

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I used to buy Ocean's Halo products a lot. Extremely disappointed to learn the company is not plant based anymore. I have severe allergies to seafood. I won't be supporting Ocean's Halo anymore.

I make better ramen broth at home but was curious to try this one.
