I bought this for my fiancé and he absolutely loved it! The board is really well made and the pieces have a small price of felt to aid with sliding on the board! There is chess and checker pieces, and I would definitely recommend! The game instructions were slightly different than the original rules but that can easily be over looked

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is great for a starter set.  The board is smaller than a normal chess board. The drawers do stick a little when pulling them in and out.  My son loves it and couldn't be happier with it.

My sure you look at the measurements before buying it is very small thought it was larger than what I received.

Wasn't impressed with the product.

The wood is cheap quality. The board is. Wet small. We expected better quality for such a price!

Box was unevenly glued, rough edges almost like a splinter.  Top had discoloration (glue stains?) and there was a white blotch that could not be removed.  The checker pieces had two chipped.  Would not give this to a child.

Poor Quality Construction.
