I initially is not a big fan of VR, but after trying it with the Oculus, I found it really fun. It is indeed like a different kind of world. I only use it for some VR content and I generally have a session for like about half an hour which I feel quite comformtable wearing the headset. I am looking forward to trying out some games.

I'd first like to say I've had this going on 4 months and I've had so much fun with it, If you want something to please family or for yourself, id 100% recommend this device, I've been using VR boxing alot, and I've lost over 14 pound's for exercise id recommend this if you want something that's both fun and healthy

Absolute blast

Works amazing. Flawless system really looks beautiful. Kids and I enjoy playing beat saber. An amazing experience. If you have an experience something like this before and virtual reality. The only thing next is to feel and to smell but they're pretty dang close.

Love it

Bought this as a birthday gift for my son a couple weeks ago. He loves it and so far no issues. We live in a cold state with long brutal winters and spend a lot of time indoors due to the negative temps, this will keep him entertained and up and active!

Would recommend!

The oculus is probably one of the best if not the only vr headset that's worth buying. It works well, but there was one downside to this whole purchase. My vr was delayed multiple times, I waited almost a week to get it which is just ridiculous. And it was only one state away from me. Crazy. If the shipping for this was faster, maybe I'd give it 5 stars. Just maybe. Also, I'm aware that oculus is owned by Facebook. So what? Don't stop yourself from having fun. Facebook already has all our info. It won't make a difference if Facebook knows you have a vr. 

So basically, if your a gamer, buy this. If your not, probably dont.

Waited so long for it. Was worth it

the item came earlier than expected and the item and packaging were in prime condition and the headset and controllers work perfectly and setup was quick and easy all around a great experience but this was on the second try the first time however was a different story with a 4 day delay due to (understaffing) as i was told turning into my item being lost witch lead to an additional 3 days to wait for a refund witch at the end had me wondering if reordering was even worth it but im glad that i did but selfish as it might seem i wish i could've gotten something for the trouble and inconvenience

would rate 5 but it took two tries

it has been a fun and great system. never had a problem until recently i always take great care of it always put it back in the case when not using it. i went to go.play the other day and my right controller wont connect i tried everything even resetting it to no luck. how do i go about making thr warranty claim. It has been less than a year since i bought it.

While the Meta Quest 2 boasts impressive features on paper, my experience with the device was riddled with frustrations that significantly outweigh its benefits. Here's a breakdown of my major gripes:

1. Mandatory Facebook Integration: Linking your Facebook account to use the headset is a huge turnoff for many, myself included. It feels intrusive and unnecessary, forcing users to hand over personal data to a company known for its privacy violations.

2. Comfort Issues: The stock strap provided is notoriously uncomfortable, causing pressure points and headaches after even short periods of use. Upgrading to a third-party strap adds an extra cost to an already expensive device.

3. Limited Battery Life: Advertised as a wireless VR headset, the Quest 2's battery life barely lasts an hour for active games, severely limiting its potential for extended VR sessions. This is particularly inconvenient for social VR applications or long gaming experiences.

4. Controller Design Issues: The controllers feel cheap and plasticky compared to other VR headsets. The grip buttons are awkward to reach, and the battery compartments are fiddly and frustrating to manage.

5. Lens Fogging: The lenses fog up easily, especially during intense gameplay or in warm environments. This breaks immersion and requires frequent cleaning, further detracting from the overall VR experience.

6. Software Bugs and Glitches: I encountered numerous software bugs and glitches during my time with the Quest 2. These ranged from minor annoyances like menu freezes to game-breaking crashes, further tarnishing the user experience.

7. Limited Game Library: While the Quest 2's game library is growing, it still lacks the depth and variety of other VR platforms. Many popular titles are exclusive to other headsets, leaving Quest 2 users with a limited pool of games to explore.

8. Facebook Account Bans: Numerous users have reported being banned from their Facebook accounts for seemingly unknown reasons, leading to complete loss of access to their Quest 2 and all purchased games. This is a major concern for anyone considering the platform.

Conclusion:

While the Meta Quest 2 offers some promising features, its numerous shortcomings significantly detract from its overall appeal. The mandatory Facebook integration, uncomfortable design, limited battery life, and software issues make the user experience frustrating and unreliable. Additionally, the controller design, lens fogging, and limited game library further reduce its value proposition. For a truly immersive and enjoyable VR experience, I would strongly advise looking elsewhere.

A Disappointing VR Experience

We purchased a warranty on this VR because our last VR didn't even last a year, Now this one has been nothing but problems, i went to file a claim and they said first year is manufacture warranty not us, so we called manufacture, they reset VR and it still wont work properly, so i thought well lets refund this one, after all the steps i took now the refund window has closed, and cant refund. We just need a replacement this one is not allowing my son to play his games.

VR doesn't work.  Lacking any help with this

They don't inform you that there are specs based on eye distance from lens and eye distance between your eyes which determine whether what you view is sharp. In my case, even though is an adjustment for distance between eyes, it does not conform well to my facial dimensions

Doesn't focus well for all.
