I'm a 75 year old woman, and I was able to install this keyboard drawer myself on the underside of my large flat-board wooden desk. (I had a semester of "shop" training in elementary school in the 1950s, so I was not intimidated by the thought of using tools). Instructions were good, and the drawer is solid and slides easily in and out from under the desk. I don't use the slide-out side tray for my mouse: clearly it could work well, but I just prefer to keep the mouse on the desktop.

I attached this to my 6-Foot Center-Fold Table that I also purchased here. it was very easy to install and it holds pressure and weight, if you tend to lean on the mouse or keyboard area...

I use a wireless keyboard size 6 inches by 17 inches with that being said a nice surprise benefit is the extra space in the area where the keyboard itself goes. actually has 5 inches surface area towards the back of it plus an extra 3.5 inches on the side of the keyboard

so It allows for some storage space, I just put my flash drives, sticky notes, and xtras that I need to access quickly.

I am replacing the same one. I like the pullout for the mouse however my grandchildren thought it was too lean on and broke it.

Beware of grandchildren using computer desk

I love my Underdesk Keyboard Drawer. Not only does it free up desk surface space, its contoured design keep my hands and wrists comfortable. Unlike many other keyboard drawer models, the Fellowes Keyboard Drawer also features a fold-away mouse tray, freeing up additional desk space while tucking away neatly while not in use. The design is sturdy and trustworthy.

The keyboard drawer was quite easy to install. Instructions were clear and all the hardware was included. The sliding attachment for the mouse works ok, but I very seldom use it as it is awkwardly placed and is not very functional. The drawer itself is very useful. The time from ordering it to receiving it was very short. I was surprised how fast it arrived.

The keyboard drawer works great.

Excellent value for the price. Better products are available but at a substantially higher price. This product should work very well for the home user.
It is easy to install using only a drill and a screwdriver.
The mouse pad slide-out tray is ok, but the support mechanism for it seems a bit weak. I expect this part to fail due to plastic bushings riding in steel slots. However, still a good value.

Good product for the money

good price, and my walmart discount helped a little. you may need two people to screw this to the desk. my desk is L shaped and it was not that easy, but I did it by me shelf with a screw driver and a drill. the only downside is the mouse tray is a bit flimsy and needs some spacers to fix that (comes with some for one side). the item is great and shipping was only $2.97 or ship it to the store for free. there is one like this that is cheaper but its smaller. buy this product and I bet you'll like it. has a memory foam hand rest.

great item at a great price

Good product for the price

The quality seems ok and there is a comfort pad for your wrists, but I find that the mouse rest (sticks out on the right) is too far back. When I have the keyboard at the right distance, I have to reach forward for the mouse and it hurts my shoulder.

Decent, but mouse rest should be further forward

The keyboard tray is fine; it is the attachment for the mouse that is the problem. It is a very uncomfortable distance from the keyboard and also sits much lower than the keyboard. I actually have to lean forward and turn to the side. I can't believe this keyboard was tested and approved. It does not pass the ergonomic test in my opinion.
