Ease Of Use

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I put this together immediately and used it on my Zero turn. Worked great and I was able to change the blades, clean out the build up inside the mowing deck and then wash out the deck completely without having to remove the deck or worry about it falling on me. Great product!

This works great only thing is I don't have a zero turn mower, And I see they have edited the listing to say this now. After much research and discovering Ohio steel has obviously discontinued their riding mower lift. But guess what, you can order the parts from their website to make it a riding mower lift. Only two parts are different, and if you want you can order the parts for the tractor to put the lift out in front of the mower, out of the way.

A couple of parts from Ohiosteel.com converts this

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] be aware of how your deck is constructed. If there is a flat horizontal lip underneath, you will have to find an alternate point for pick up. My Husqvarna has such a lip and it tortured me for over an hour of slippage before I realized what was causing the pick up to fail. Fortunately there is a square tube forward of the deck where the lift will successfully attach. BE AWARE!

Works SOMEWHAT!

Haven't had a chance to actually use it yet (hence 3 stars), but here are my thoughts to date.  This is quite a bit heavier than I expected it to be, and therefore stouter, able to take a beating, seemingly durable.  The tires are pneumatic (totally unexpected - maybe I just didn't read the description well enough?).  Considering how we are instructed to use the "stabilizer bar", I'm not sure just how much stabilization it can actually provide.  The first stages of assembly are a little difficult as it wants to roll too easily while trying to bolt down the lift arms.  And there is no indication in the instructions as to how to figure out which set of holes, which placement locations, will work best for a given mower.  Maybe something like measure the distance between the front wheels and from the front of the mower to the front of the deck and then use holes A, B, or C and set the lift arms into holes D, E, or F.  Considering how each piece is bolted in place during assembly, this will be a pain if I guess wrong and have to take it apart, move the arms, then reassemble.  Once all that gets worked out, though, this looks like it will serve the purpose quite well, and that being an easily transportable lift for my RZT mower.
