I loved this dye! It came out exactly how it shows on the box and even though it seemed like I might not have enough, it was enough to color all of my hair. It didn't burn my scalp or stain me like a lot of dyes do! I'll definitely be getting this one again.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This product is great because there's no ammonia in it so it doesn't smell horrible! It gave great coverage of all my grey roots and the colour is vibrant. It was easy to apply and didn't drip or run. My only criticism is that there was too much product for my short hair, it felt wasteful throwing so much away. Maybe you could make a half size version for those of us with short hair?

Very pleasant scent. Did not damage or dry out my hair. Made my hair very soft and shiny. Highly recommend this hair dye.

Lovely hair dye

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have dyed black hair so thought I'd try this over it to see if it would give it a purple shine, it didn't really work. Not obviously anyway, a few have seen it in bright natural light but I haven't. 
It probably would work over natural black/dark brown...
As for the dye itself it was easy enough to mix and the push out hole in the box to hold the bottle is a great idea. I don't like that theres 2 bottles you squeeze into another empty bottle as it's a bit wasteful. 
After I rinsed the dye out I used the Garnier mask for dyed hair as well so it felt nice and soft after I dried it.

Not what I needed

The instructions were easy to follow, the mixture didn't have as potent smell as other brands, I was impressed with the amount of conditioner you get also. My hair was left noticeably shinier that usual and I the colour is bright and vibrant which is the look I was hoping to achieve. Will definately be using again.

Straight forward

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have naturally dark brown/black south Asian hair so when I received this , I thought GREAT! I could do with a drastic change! The dye uses 60 percent oils which make the colour more vivid .The packaging stood out to me as it looks very funky and fun. I like how the box has a hole in which you can stand the bottle in whilst you are mixing the solution (this ensures there aren't any spillages!) . The dye has a lovely floral fragrance and no ammonia which makes sure your hair is not damaged when you dye it. So I mixed the concoction up and started applying , the dye is not too thick and glides out of the nozzle very easily. I was able to do my head my self and I have long shoulder blade length hair . Once on I waited 30mins for the developmental time . After what seemed like ages I washed it off . The dye like others does take a few washes to come out and I had to shampoo twice then used the conditioner that came with the dye . Once dried and styled I looked in the mirror to see my drastic hair change and alas I could not see any change. I assumed that maybe it would have tinged my hair so that when the sun hit it , you could see the colour but it has not . My hair has a very slight tinge but not violet so I would not recommend using this on dark brown /black hair as it does not touch it .

Did not change my hair colour

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've used the darker Olia hair dyes in the past with mixed results. Olia is my go to colourant because its ammonia free and leaves my hair feeling amazingly soft and shiny after usage and the conditioner is my favourite! This shade didn't really take too well to my long brown hair but did leave it looking a little darker and under certain lighting gave a nice purplish tint which is fine by me. The issue with many people I think is that their hair has previous tint build up and so the dye doesn't take as well or evenly to the hair and so the roots are often quite vibrant - new virgin hair growth. If you want a subtle hint in the sun and certain lighting then go for it! But if you want bright vibrant hair without bleaching or pre-lightening your hair then I'm afraid this isn't likely for you. I might go back to my old favourite which is the black shade as it beats the offer brands and doesn't break the bank ;(

Disappointing

I just applied on 6 days ago the colour, and I have washed my hair 2 times after that and is still the water coming out violet, therefore, the stains in the bath, my towel, and during the night on my pillowcase!!!

I don't understand why is that, is not the first time that I colour my hair, is the first that I choose this and the last... no good at all.

And to be honest the colour is not so noticeable, hence I'll wait few days and I'll change it again.

Losing colour with every wash (stains everywhere)

I've been dying my hair for a few years now and this is one of the worst "permanent" hair dyes I have ever used.
My hair before dying was an unnatural shade of red, so naturally I went for a darker colour to cover the redy tones. I was well aware that the colour produced would probably be a more redy version of whatever appeared on the box, but to my surprise after following the application step by step it was as violet as the box promised. However, every time I washed my hair it drastically lost the purple colouring and after about 2 weeks I was back to the original shade of red. After spending £14 on this product I was more than disappointed that my hair is the exact shade it was before.
