This bar was a gift for my husband. It turned out to be exactly what he needed/wanted. He's very satisfied.

Exactly what I was looking for at a good price and no shipping.

Perfect

I just received this bar, and I'm very pleased to find that it is everything I need. The bar itself is definitely gym quality - the fit and finish are excellent. After reading about the experiences of some of the reviewers here, I was unsure about the purchase. Based on the reviews, my concerns had been:

- the shipping process. Many reviewers have commented that the bar was received with packaging in less than good condition. I received the bar via Fedex, and the packaging was fully intact. In fact, it took me a while to get the bar out. Maybe I was lucky or maybe they've improved the packaging, but I have no complaints.

- I was so sure that the collars were going to be missing or unusable that I ordered spring clips with the bar. However, the collars arrived with the bar, with screws intact. The collars actually are pretty nice, but the spring clips will be easier to use.

Overall very satisfied, and Walmart had the best price I've seen.

Couldn't ask for anything more

I LOVE IT!!! This Curl bar has perfect balance, very sturdy and well crafted. My only complaint is the locks are cheap compared to the quality of the bar itself. The solution is to simply purchase other locks.

Excellent Curl Bar

Bar is great. The knarling on the handles is great. You get a very good grip on the bar. However, the collars are terrible. There is no way to get them tight enough by hand to make the weight stay on. I am having to use pliers to tighten them down.

However for the price, it is a functional curl bar and I'll keep it.

Great bar, non-functional collars

Great product and very satisfied with it. Only thing I didn't like were the collars with a screw handle that came with the bar. Easy fix, I just purchased some spring collars.

very nice bar

The overall product was great. Wal-Mart shipping was very poor on this item. The cardboard tube it came it had been heavily damaged. I didn't think much of it since it's a heavy item and figured that would happen. When I got home and opened it the shipping department had lost one of my collars for the bar.

I like the bar but the two collars do not work well. I had to purchase different collars that would hold the weights in place.

Good bar, bad collars

The product arrived with rust in the packaging and missing the screws for the collars. The bar also had signs of use. Pretty sure this product was not new. It's going back to the store.
