10 minutes out of box and i had 3 carrots and 2 beets juiced. Amazing flavor, dry pulp, using 4 times a week.

Juice is good

This is the latest and greatest model from Omega and all I have to say is wow it's super impressive. The juice yield is off the charts amazing and the clean up is a lot easier than what I expected. The warranty is the best on the market. I highly recommend the Omega NC1000.

This is a long term review of 4 (5?) years - not a "wow it's shiny and I'm excited!".  I use the juicer 3x a- week and have recommended to many friends.  I have never used the pasta attachments. I am not a technician, but the method it uses is to slowly squeeze the heck out of everything (rather than chop it up to pulp).  My favorites are kale-ginger-cucumber-apple.  Everything will juice, EXCEPT soft fruit like melon, berries, banana & orange, which will go to mush and not feed through the grinder.   I juice carrots, beets, Kale, and found everything tastes good with ginger, a green apple, and turmeric.  When I'm on a diet, I stir in protein powder to the juice as a meal replacement.  When I'm not on a diet, I have been known to stir in vodka or gin to the juice.  Yes, it will make phenomenal cocktail bases.  My advice is to clean immediately after use, so no sticky gunk builds up.  I have had to unscrew the backplate and clean, which is a 10-minute job every 6 weeks or so.  The black grinder broke last week, but it lasted 4 years and was easily replaced from the website (at a ridiculous cost though).

juices well, for celery in particular, have to cut things up more to fit in slot more than other juicers but likely better juice quality due to slow process, also rather large heavy base so have to stay on counter. But definitely recommend it.

It's very consistent like a workhorse. The juice tastes richer than my centrifugal Breville juicer. The cleaning is a snap, easy assembly and disassembly.

I bought the NC1000HDS on 12/10/2020 and it broke on 1/29/2020 in the same place as the other two I had. Originally I purchased the Omega COLD PRESS 365 entry model/first generation. It broke the first time I used it, on a beet. The replacement broke the plastic threads where the drum and the end cap connect. It was a carrot that did it in. I thought this one would masticate most anything. I did chop up the beets and large carrots, evidently not enough. I'll have to cut up beets to 1/4" - 1/2" and cut carrots down to size.

I like the way the 1000 gets as much juice out as possible. Squeezing the discharge pulp yields hardly a drop.

Very bad and fragile parts. Brock from the second use. Not only  brock , butalso turned hot very quickly and made a weired smell. We did not over use at all .

I've been using this juicer for 8 months now. I like it except the end cap keeps breaking so I'm off line till I get a replacement. It's happened four times already, so it looks like it's an inherent problem.

I had two breaks within the first 90 days on the end nozzle.  Just recently the entire mounting system for the auger snapped off.  Cheap plastic junk, don't buy this juicer!
