I bought 2 of these units to replace Amazon Firesticks which had become slow and would freeze up and then restart.  The ONN unit has more flexibility than the older Amazon Firestick. I would recommend these to cord cutters and also to anyone who would like smart TV features added to older HDMI TVs.

I have purchased about a dozen of these. I did get 1 that froze on what country but was able to return. You need a Gmail address to activate. The set up is a bit slow but luckily only have to do it once. After being a fire stick user for almost 2 decades I can say I like my onn stick better. Being disabled I watch a lot of TV so my onn stick gets used almost all day everyday and so far so good.

I love this little device! The 4k versions are pretty hard to catch in stock, so I went with this one. The picture and sound are fantastic on my TV. Setup took a bit due to a 1 gig size update, but after that, smooth sailing. Many features, which I'm still exploring. Overall, it's so cool that I bought a another one for someone else.

I'm no IT guy, but for $15 you're not likely to find a better way to connect your HD TV to entertainment sources on a cost vs feature basis.  On screen instructions guide you through the set-up.  And to add to the incredible value of this product is the remote which offers voice activated program selection.  It couldn't be easier or more convenient.  One note:  You'll find four numbers on the underside of the packaging.  The first two indicate the year of manufacture and the second two numbers indicate the week of manufacture.  As for myself, I made sure that all four units that I purchased showed the same date code....2534...the year 2025, the 34th week.  I'd say, the newer the better.

A great deal for the money.

I love this product, it only took me 15 minutes to install. Just had regular channels, now i get Roku,Pluto, Plex, Google, Xumo, you do need WiFi. You can also stream. It might not be much to some, but for me it was an upgrade from the regular channels. You can also subscribe to other channels. Very happy with it.

A very nice little Google TV box. It seems pretty standard in terms of what it supports, and I have been able to load a bunch of useful software through the Google play store. It's quite fast. For the price, I think it's an extremely good value, and it's my favorite TV box. I have Roku and fire sticks also in my house, but this is the one that I use.

Very good product. Only thing is the remote. You can add every free app that does not charge a subscription. The pause/choice button is encircled by the up, down, fast forward and fast rewind buttons which takes some getting used to so that you don't hit the wrong part.

I stream a lot! I've also had multiple generations of the Amazon fire TVs, but Amazon has decided to interfere with paid apps, such as my VPN, which I now have to sideload every single update so I looked for alternatives.

This version of ONN is not as good as the fire TV. It was very easy to set up an intuitive, but the actual quality of the picture is not as good. 

On the other hand, if you haven't done anything complicated on your streaming device, you don't use a VPN you don't use a lot of apps and you just kinda want a single source of all your paid services. It's just fine. I would probably upgrade for better quality, even as a starter particularly if it's a primary TV

This was just for TV in my extra bedroom that I only watch when I'm  on my stationary bike.

I did try moving it to other TVs and the picture quality issue was still inferior to the fire TV so that's consistent. That's why I recommend just upgrade if you can afford it. 

The good news is it was super affordable, so my rating is relative to the cost

OK as a starter streaming device

AVOID THIS PRODUCT AT ALL COSTS. THIS STICK DOES NOT CONNECT TO THE INTERNET. I have about 20 devices connected to my home internet network. I have never had this much issues connecting to the internet. This is a useless product. ROKU/FIRESTICK/XFINITY/SMART TVs, have taken 5-10 minutes max. After 2 hours of trying to connect this, I gave up. Just need to return it or throw it in the trash if they give me ISH at Walmart.

TAKE THE $15 and throw it in the trash.

I would not recommend this device to anyone I've had problems with onn 1080 streaming device since I have purchased it I've factory reset it 3times no improvement it freezes and stops working. nothing helps I quit using it. good luck if you purchase one.
