This is our second Ooni pizza peel. We loved our first one so much we decided to buy another one so we could prepare two pizzas at the same time. We originally bought another brand at a local store not knowing there was such a big quality difference between them. Our pizzas stuck on that peel making it difficult to put in the oven. That one is now the pizza peel we cut on. Thanks for the great product.

Built for Pizza Makers Who Love the Craft

I watched a tutorial about how to get the best launch from your pizza. It talked about peel temperatures etc. This Bamboo peel made all the difference to getting our pizzas easily into the oven. We used semolina on the board and then used the metal peel when removing our pizzas from our Ooni.

Top tier pizzas

Works great! Little semolina flour and the pizza slides right off!
I don't know how it will do with retrieving the pizza as I feel you may start to see some scorch marks. I still use a metal peel for that.

Wonderful Peel

Great pizza peel. I needed a 16" peel for my Sams Club pizza crusts. I have a Weber grill and a Weber pizza stone but somehow Weber does not make an equivalent size pizza stone.

Great Peel for 16" pizza

Worth the price, but I do have another smaller bamboo peel that pretty much does the same job at a smaller size. Still, I am happy with this purchase.

Great Purchase

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So because of the aggressive lip and trying to make thinner pizzas, it's rather difficult to use it as a pizza peel. However, that said it works great for prepping and getting the pizzas all ready to go cutting and serving as it is very attractive.

Awesome pizza peel

Dare I say I wish there were a larger option? We got the largest 16” option and it's great to hold a full 12” pizza and some extra slices from a previously started pizza. It would be nice to be able to hold multiple pizzas for serving at a table. I was surprised by how easily the pizza wheel cut significant grooves into the board out of the gate. Great weight and sturdiness to it!

Solid board

For the most part I am quite happy with the peel. It is slightly heavier than I think would be optimal. The weight comes from being a bit thicker than I think is best for using with the Ooni oven.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Not heavy despite generous size, very useful for serving up the pizzas we make. Only shame is that pizza cutter has marred the surface. Have instructed husband that pizza cutting doesn't require the strength of an circus strongman but even with gentle cutting I see the marks. . . Minor flaw though. Would recommend for grabbing done pizzas and serving up at the table. Have not used it to launch pizzas as we use metal ones. Ends are finished nicely with no rough parts. Like the hole in the handle for storage options.
