This is a perfect pizza oven. Easy to use and makes fabulous pizzas in minutes. Although a wood fire oven would be ideal, this propane powered oven is effortless. It heats up quickly and there is no mess to clean up after the oven is turned off. I highly recommend this oven.

Perfect pizza oven

I have been researching for a year for an outdoor oven. I finally decided on this one. After burning the first one, I learned what to do and what not to do. Now I get perfect beautiful pizza in approx 90-95 seconds. If you can afford it get the 16 inch. Bigger pizza!. I cannot recommend enough, its great!

Dream Come True!

Nice oven providing excellent results in a very efficient & fast cooker time. 
It does need to be raised to almost eye level to allow constant turning & a watchful eye.
Enjoying experimenting with various toppings (& dough) to find our 'favourites' and a great way to involve everybody, including the children. Definitely surpassed the now redundant BBQ.

Now that Ooni delivers natural gas ovens out of the box, the value can’t be beat (if you prefer natural gas). Great product from a company that wants to be the best!

Quality and value

My pizza oven worked perfectly. The gas ignitor is a bit tricky, but not a problem. I just need my Spare Hook kits completed with two more attachment screws for the hook bar.

A joy to use

I'm learning and it takes time. I'm following various guides. I'm learning about peels and dough. First pizza, dough was hard to stretch. Pizza turned out smallBurnt the crust on one side because I couldn't turn it fast enough.

Then bought a bamboo peel, a turning peel and individual proofing containers. Still having issues on how to best stretch dough. Still a small pizza, but not burnt this time. I'm charring my pizza oven, bought a pizza brush. Turning peel a plus.

Third pizza, final proofing was done on a plate under plastic wrap. Got my best rise yet, my largest pizza yet, though my least round pizza. I singed my bamboo peel. I can't remember if I laughed it or removed it with the bamboo peel. I'm guessing you should not use the bamboo peel in the oven but only to serve.

Besides items listed above, I've bought the infrared thermometer and the dough balls. I want to eventually make my own dough, but I figure this was easier to get started. The dough balls are easy to work with (I think). I have questions about unfreezing them and getting them to rise. . . too much, too little? The Thermometer I think is unnecessary unless you are having a party or are in a hurry.

So the oven itself is great. It's easy, fast and convenient. When I feel a bit more comfortable, I'll invite people over and . . .

I will never regret this purchase. I’ve played around with dough recipes and finally have the perfect crust. Im considering another oven to keep at our seasonal campsite. Attached picture is of the first two pizzas we made. They have only gotten better.

I will never regret this

Never had a pizza oven before, so was a little intimated. Assembly was easy. After preheating, getting used to how it cooks was simple. Cooked some sicilian pizzas, so good.

Love it

It was very easy to set up. The problem I’m having is with ignition. It can literally take 10 to 15 turns of the dial, hearing the click and getting no flame. Once it is lightened it great. My old one would light in the first couple of tries. So overall I’m disappointed in my new Ooni Koda 16. 👎🙁
