Wow, beautiful tv, beautiful picture. Great for gaming, watching movies ect. This is the first TV I've owned that upscaling is a feature and there is a noticeable difference when watching a pre HD movie or show and it's visibly much better than the original format. Bravo LG. Only con as far as I can tell is the sound is not the best. Not terrible, but ok. it's a very slim TV and like most slim TV's you're not going to get the best audio, luckily LG also makes pretty good sound bars too.

This is a very good tv - movies ,gaming, etc.
It unfortunately only came with 2 screws, instead of 4 for mounting, but I was able to buy 2 more for a a few dollars for Lowes. Otherwise,  installation and set-up was easy.

Samsung C5 TV - oled

I absolutely love my TV, I’m not very technical so I did have a friend help but it was very easy between the two of us.
The picture is vivid and I enjoy sports on tv vs going in person so this is a win win for me.

Izzy’s happiness

Our GX lasted 5 years before the processor showed signs of failure. Looked at the G5 this time, but hubby didn't want to run the risk of replacing another expensive tv too soon. We took a trip to NYC & the sales guy at the store was fabulous on key features of this tv versus the GX (way more insightful than Aussie sales pitches), so once we got home, saw that LG had too good a deal to refuse. 83" for the same price as a 77". An upgrade from our 65", & we're loving it already. Very easy to install ourselves (wall mounted). Would love to see an option for an extended warranty on these tv's (the only time we'd consider an extended warranty due to the large cost). But definitely worth it! Thanks LG!

So far after two days the item is perfect for my needs. As to the pricing discrepancy as previously stated that was not. I understand sales on items. But a price reduction less than ten minutes after i purchased the tv and no adjustment is not acceptable

Refresh rate is excellent, turning on TV to main screen is a breeze and scrolling around is easy plus the AI function in the “setting” works wonder especially when auto switch from regular 4K movie to gaming. Only down side is the remote. - with the mouse pointer is easily turns on after a few swing. Better with a button to turn it ON / OFF. Backing of tv of lots of inputs which I think is a bonus.

Gd TV but remote is a little disappointed

Awesome picture. Sound is OK but I recommend using an AV unit (Much better). If your investing in a higher end, TV  it is worth a little more for good sound to go with it.

Directions leave a lot to be desired but after some trial and error I was able to get a great
picture!

Great picture, no pause on live ota tv!

Twas time to replace decade old tcl 65 and I was excited to get a top shelf tv but was surprised it doesn’t do what the old cheap tv did. I watch 80% ota tv (live free digital) and the old cheap tcl would allow you to pause, rewind and replay tv for up to 90 minutes. I could pause the game, now the lawn and come back and watch most of the game without commercials quickly. This is a great feature to replay incredible plays or controversial calls. The new near top of the line tv doesn’t do that! I had to buy another $120 Tablo device that supposedly does that. 

I understand my gripe is unlikely with most others as most people have cable plans or watch just Netflix but this feature wasn’t explained well and most research ahead of time said the tv can do it.

Overall, pleased with TV but I wouldn’t have bought it had I known it didn’t pause live TV.

Great picture, NO PAUSE ON LIVE OTA TV!

The TV is fine, happy with it so far.  The remote is easily the worst and most frustrating remote I have ever seen.  There is a roller ball used as an "enter" button for all deployment of remote functions.  But when you press the ball down, unless you hold the remote in front of you and do it ultra slowly, the movement of the ball causes the pointer to flutter across the screen on its own at lighting speed.  It is virtually impossible to select and hit enter.  The engineers who designed this track ball and installed it on a remote have a warped sense of humor.  So frustrating and unuseable.  I decided to purchase a new remote within an hour of attempted operation.

TV is solid.  Remote is frustrating %26 unuseable!

I cannot believe that the remote for this television does not have a dedicated mute button. It is a joke, and for that reason.I have to repackage this television and return it to walmart. I love the picture.Not crazy about the platform but I think I could get used to it, but I can't get used to no mute button.And the process that they make you go through to mute it, it's just ridiculous. give me a remote with a dedicated mute button.Is that too much to ask
