I've used the plastic fans with a metal cage, plastic blades.  NO  GOOD!  The metal industrial oscillating fan is fantastic and rather than a few months of use, I know this fan is going to be durable and worth the few extra dollars.  Instead of months of use, I can tell there are going to be years of use.

Nothing to dislike,moves air like a champ

Works as advertised

When I first received it it worked great. My problem is that it hadn't even lasted a year. The motor makes a whining noise. And if the motor does start it makes a high squeal noice. Very disappointed.

Didn't last a year

Fan worked wonderful for two months now it does not work on low.

I just purchased this only recently. I used it tonight for the second time. Suddenly, it stopped working. I want to return it

Worked wonderfully on day 1.  On day 2 the oscillation feature stopped working.  The main reason for purchasing this stand fan was the oscillation feature.  A very expensive 3 speed fan that does not work very well.

Pieces of the fan were missing. Fan is too expensive to arrive in the condition it arrived in. The box was not professionally sealed and it looks refurbished.
