Have several high velocity fans. Box fans really don't do anything much. My girlfriend's bedtime fan quit working and this was the replacement. Much quieter, stronger and better looking than one before.

For a personal fan, it is great. Home or work, it really does a great job, best value, whisper quiet (except on high) and compact size for the airflow it produces.

In other words, we're very happy and would recommend.

I like to have a fan ran at night for the white noise, this fan is just loud enough on med. I also use this fan to blow the AC into my bedroom on the top floor where the AC is not so great, this fan helps get the AC into the room and keeps it cooler. It is a nice fan for the price.

UI bought this for my bedroom for air circulation because my room get very hot due to various electronics that runs day and night. use it at least 20 hours a day. it has a great thrust compared to the size of it. it is loud. but if u are a person who needs a white noise to sleep, this is the perfect.

Con; Hard to turn the head kind a stiff. cleaning is difficult.

I have to sleep with a fan at night. Its perfect.

We've had this fan for a couple of months now. We use it for 'white noise' in our son's room. The 'low' and 'medium' settings are pretty quiet, but the 'hi' setting provides enough noise to do the job.

Besides white noise, it's just a great fan. Not big & bulky and powerful enough to provide good air flow.

Great fan, great value

We bought this fan for whitenoise purposes. The Lo and Med. settings are almost identical in noise and are a bit quieter than we had hoped; then High is super loud. We have been using the Med. setting for whitenoise but it is not as loud as a different fan we own (which is perfect for our daughter's room). I wish the Med. setting was a bit louder or the High was a bit softer. But it is doing the trick.

Bought this fan for white noise and based on other reviews thought it would be louder than it actually is. Even on the max setting its still quiet.

Not as loud as expected

Needed a fan for white noise at night. Was a nice looking fan. Motor ran well. However, a screw on the fan mount was stripped and rattled when turned on. Had to return to store. Waiting on next one to arrive. Will give it another try.
