We needed a coat rack to fit in a very small space. It is the perfect size. With winter coming on, we did not want to have to go to the closet every time we went out. This rack easily holds our coats, hats and even the dogs' leashes! Definitely worth more than we paid.

Hides perfect in the corner easy to put coats, bags and toys on. Kids love how there jackets are easy to remove and put on and out the door they go.

Easy to assemble- pieces just screw right in. A few of the pieces were unevenly stained and a couple had some flat/chipped parts; but it serves it's purpose as a coat rack.

Nice cherry wood coat rack. Easy to put together...takes two mins. Lots of pegs for hanging coats or scarves, etc. I came back for a second one.

very nice for the money

Very happy with purchase.  Cherry wood color is spot on and it was very easy to assemble - took no time at all.  This coat rack is functioning perfectly as a purse display/organizer in my bedroom.  Swivel top makes everything accessible - holds several purses.  Some women favor many shoes - my preference is many purses and this item is sturdy enough to hold them all.

I think that this will be a very good coat rack for the money. It was very easy to assemble and looks good. The only thing that was wrong, was there were a couple of scratches on the wood. But they are not really noticeable.

Good coat rack for the money

At first I was a little skeptical about purchasing this item but I'm very please & happy that I did..

Great product.

Easy to assemble, but poor dimensional control causes gaps where there should be none; I would recommend that this product be purchased only if you are willing to assemble, then check fitment, adjust the fitment (using hand tools), then reassemble.

Problematic quality control

I purchased this hall tree to replace my  oak wood hall tree that got broken -- it had seen many years of use and held up under a lot of weight.  However, this new hall tree is not as sturdy as the one I'm replacing.  Although they are both of the same basic design, this new item is very lightweight.  

The hall tree I am replacing has a core pole of a larger diameter of an inch or more than this new purchase and the three legs were larger and more substantial than those on this new one.  This new hall tree just isn't as solid and it tends to topple over easily, too.    

I guess I will have to keep searching until I find one exactly like my old one that got broken.  [sigh]

Not quite what I expected!

Bought this online had to wait on holiday shipping, that wasn't the bad part I knew it was going to take time when I ordered. What upset me was I put it together and the first light fleece jacket that was put on it one of the leg split from the post and fell braking the peg that holds the coats and jackets.

Vey displeased with this product, do yourself a favor and buy something else.
