This is the only deodorant I use. I am very sensitive to smells and this deodorant smells good going on but the scent isn't strong enough that I smell it throughout the day.  I also don't smell myself throughout the day, even after working out, because this product works so well. It doesn't feel sticky or anything either. 10/10

I have been using Dove Original for years. It keeps me dry with a gentle scent, that’s not too strong.  I am very sensitive to smells and unable to tolerate any floral scents.  I recently ran out and used my daughter’s competitive brand made my underarms sticky.  No stickiness noted with Dove, feel nice and fresh with it.

Dove for the Win

This was my deodorant I have used for years  I loved it it worked amazing  now the past two I bought smell different and it works different if they were to switch it back to how it used to be.  Best deodorant. But I can’t stand the almost  flower or sweet smell of it smh come on dove. Don’t change the original smh

Don’t fix what’s not broken

This deodorant would be good for someone who doesn't sweat much and has very low body odor. The scent smells wonderful at first but quickly fades into a not so pleasant smell. It does make my armpits quite soft and doesn't irritate my skin, but it just doesn't do enough in the odor department. I wouldn't get this again, but it may be a good deodorant for a child.

It's Just "Okay"

Dove has changed the scent and it is AWFUL. I have purchased this deodorant for as long as I can remember, and this change means that I now I have to find a new brand. Just awful scent.

Changed the formula and made it TERRRIBLE

I have sensitive underarms. I found this deodorant more than 20 years ago and it was the only one that did not irritate my underarms. Loved it until recently your company changed the aluminum product in it. I would just love to have an answer as to why it was changed. Only thing online says to make way for new aluminum free products. That customers want with sensitive skin. I have tried the aluminum free and it really burned and made my whole body itch worse than this new formula. Why change a trusted product everyone loved? This new formula made my underarms feel raw and the skin turned really red. Now that I’m trying to find another brand I have noticed that all deodorants have the same ingredient. Why? I see hundreds on here with the same story. I think we deserve an answer since we have been loyal customers. It honestly makes me wonder if big pharm could be behind this to cause us to get sick over time.

They've changed the Original Clean fragrance.  I've loved and used this product daily for many years.  The once warm clean fragrance is now floral and sweet and smells like a cheap house cleaning product.  So awful I had to shower it off.  Just bought two of the Advanced version and they're going in the trash.  Very disappointed, as I'll have to find something else.

Awful New Floral Fragrance

Dove has changed the product. I have bad allergies and asthma,  this was one of the only scents I could tolerate without getting a headache and a reaction to the smell. It's now a yellowish tint in color vs white and smells awful. Once it heats up to your skin the smell gets more intense!!!😷😵‍💫

I buy Dove original all the time, like 30 years. I usually stockpile it.  I recently had to go out and replenish my supply and unfortunate to find out that they’ve changed the formula and it smells terrible and irritates my skin. I will no longer be buying this.

Sadly disappointed in formula change

I have used this product for at least 10 years. Why did they change the ingredients?!? It took me so long to find a deodorant that I wasn’t allergic to and I finally found the dove original was the only thing that worked for me without getting a rash. They changed the formula and now I can’t use this product because it makes me get a rash and it burns when applying this product. They had no warning label on the package saying they changed the ingredients. Change it back dove. This new product sucks.
