After showers mixed with a body cream I live on Palmers Cocoa Butter. At the end of the day and you take off socks or leggings no flaky skin. Especially in winter time.

I've been using  Palmer‘s Cocoa Butter in a JAR .. almost everyday for 28 years!  (I do Not recommend their lotions as their “stretch mark” lotions contain Alcohol n Water, which defeats the purpose of moisturizer)  .. I gained a lot of weight while pregnant along w/itchiness from stretching/dry skin. (never use your nails/clotjing to scratch belly as it will lift up layers of skin leaving stretch marks. Use FingerTips Only).


Applying Palmer's cocoa butter after a shower, will absorb into your skin by the time you get dressed,. So No oily residue ..and No Scaly “lizard”  skin like with oils. It absorbs so well, you'll notice when you wash your hands after applying it, it doesn't leave that slimy feeling like lotion. 

It also keeps you Soo warm… (When wearing a jacket isn't feasible)  … crop top wearers, cheerleaders etc.  Exceptional for keeping children playing in the cold, snow (I find it insulates n protects the skin from cold and moisture). 

For better application: when scooping out of the jar use the back of your nails (so it doesn't get stuck under them),  place a small scoop in your palms and rub together, this will soften it for smoother application.

%231 Moisturizer for Healthy Radiant Skin

As a caregiver for a bedridden person, this form of cocoa butter is good for the skin, and muscles. It is good after bathing and a great aid for rubbing the muscles all over the body. It makes the rubbing process easier as the hands glide over the skin smoothly.

I can't believe this works so well! I usually use it on my feet and it works to softenthem really well, but I recently got a cold and my nose was raw from blowing it so much. I put some of this on it and it was amazing! Healed overnight and didn't burn or sting at all.

Great Product!

Palmer's cocoa butter is the best!  After just one application you will notice a dramatic difference.  Use sparingly,  it doesn't require much for hydrating results.  It may feel greasy at first but after a minute only softness remains.  It also contains vitamin E, which aids in healing and softening rough, dry skin.  A great product for winter hands and feet!

The Best Cocoa Butter Formula

Palmer's cocoa butter feels more like a balm than a lotion. It has made my skin super soft. I tried it because the ingredients listed were better than most skin moisturizers on the market at an affordable price. You can add other ingredients to it as well (like petroleum jelly if you need it more water resistant, body oil to make it nutritious, etc.). I like the texture/consistency of this product.

Safer Ingredients

Apply immediately after towel dried .. (for smooth and easy application: always “scoop” alittle using the back of my hand away from you (so that you don't get cocoa butter stuck under my nails) ..  place into your palms and rub your hands together to melt and smooth out cocoa butter).  Apply All over.

I love how it smells and absorbs into my skin leaving me silky smooth without leaving a greasy feel like Vaseline and without the cold alcohol infused watery lotions that stay ontop of skin ..  Moisturizes for 48 hrs.  .. keeps me warm in the winter .. accentuates my tan in the summer .. gives me a Healthy Natural Moisturized  glow all yr around .. Great for Lip conditioning too. 

A Must if your pregnant! I gained 99lbs .. NO Stretch marks!! .. Elasticity is Imperative!! as  baby grows .. stretching  your skin .. keeping it moisturized will also alleviate itch ..(Never use  nails or objects to scratch (as good as it may feel) ..always  use your FingerTips and/or rub some cocoa butter on instead .. bcuz dry skin  as it stretches leave stretch marks.

Great for the Entire family including babies  n toddlers as This coco butter does Not contain alcohol. 

Be Aware: other Palmers coco Lotions advertised for “stretch marks” Contain Alcohol!! 

I ONLY recommend This type Palmers Coco Butter in a Tub bcuz its alcohol free

I love this product. The scent is like a softer cocoa butter. I use it after showering as a moisturizer. Pure cocoa butter will leave you shiny; this soaks in and leaves you feeling moisturized instead of greasy. I only gave it 4 stars because I don't want people thinking, “Oh, this will clear my scars.” Not at all. Over time (months), your scars may start to fade, but that's typically with consistent use of pure cocoa butter and vitamin E. Still, this has become a daily ritual for me.

Great moisturizer

Really like the scent.. It feels nice enough in comparison with others we've tried so far. While it's not perfect, it's our go to for moisturizer right now and I recommend it.. however, it needs to be sealed (it'll probably drive the cost up even more) but disgusting, entitled people think they have the right to run their grubby finger through the product with they haven't paid for it and put it back on the shelf. The product needs to be sealed. @Palmer's, do that and you'll get a much higher star rating from me.. hassling with returns is aggravating. @people who "sample" this on the shelf, have some shame, get some character and think of more than just yourself. If you're doing this, you're doing other things.
