This toaster is fast and does a great job toasting bread evenly. We have tried bagels, hot cross buns and different grain breads with good results. The long slots make it easy to tast rye bread and other odd shaped slices.

Buy as a gift for my blonde, practical with children, advantage of having 2 large slots, is to be able to put slices of unconventional giant artisan bread!

Excellent value for money!

I bought the Oster long-slot toaster because I love Oster's fabulous customer service if I have any issues. This toaster fits the long sliced bread we like to use perfectly! And the settings it provides cover what we need. We can toast bread frozen or unfrozen and the slots are wide enough for bagels too! Oster's customer service is fantastic so I always look to buy Oster products!

Perfect for long slices

We bought this toaster so we could toast several slices of bread at once. Unfortunately, while it looks nice and we usually trust Oster products, it doesn't toast the top part of the bread, and the outside of the toaster overheats. Not impressed. I'll be returning this one.

Don't recommend

I bought the toaster a few weeks ago. Its OK no more. I guess if I want more quality I have to pay more. Its hard to get the bread toasted right. The bread is either slightly burned or undone. It is a science to get it done the right way. Before I had a great one from another company that was about the same price but they stop making it. I need the long one because of the bread I buy. It also makes noises when I use my electric kettle like there are loose parts in it. I ordered it online so I can't be bothered with returning it, but I would if it was from a store.

Its only OK

I've had it for a month and I'm afraid the pusher will break as much as C is fragile. Also, depending on the type of bread and the temperature set at 2.5 the bread is not cooked enough or started to burn. Too expensive for quality and I don't give it long fire

Poor finish

When you purchase a toaster you expect it to make toast. This toaster burns the edges of everything causing smoke in the kitchen setting off the fire alarm. I often wonder if these manufactures ever try using these before they put them on the market. Do not purchase this item or you will be disappointed.

Poorly designd

THIS IS MY 3RD ONE. I Keep trying because we in Canada cant get a decent product and its one of only two available in the long slot 4 slice. T-fal has one but only in the USA. Used the setting to toast bread not bad, frozen bagel got charcoal,
frozen bagel on toaster setting to light for me reset and it burnt. It's a guessing game. 21st and still cant get a company to produce something that will toast bread properly. 60 years ago I had a toaster that i had to watch and flip the bread manually this is not mush better other that it pops up itself. So disappointed.

I bought this toaster 6 weeks ago, read the instructions over about 4 times tried everything, but the toaster still wont work right. toast either burns or wont toast whole toast, and keeps popping up for the first 3 times without browning. so disappointed so I will return this item today. only thing nice about product is the looks.

Oster 4 slice long slot toaster

I bought this after Christmas and it has been awful from the beginning. It pops up too soon so the bread is not toasted. Then it doesn't pop up the second time and burns the toast. Never have I ever had to push a button before putting the bread down. That light never stays on anyways. Horrible and a waste of money. Will replace as soon as possible. Too bad it was so expensive!
